Re: 'The Secret History of Twin Peaks' novel by M. Frost 10/18
I'm only on page 66 due to not having enough time in the day with two bambino's. However the book has surpassed my expectations so far. I have to admit to being a little worried after some first reactions on the spoiler thread, but this book is just too amazing.

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks
However, if I can make the assumption that this book is a dossier compiled by "The archivist", then I can presume the book reads through like a hoard of documents, newspaper reports, journal entries, official FBI reports etc, right? Can we not then presume that some of these documents hav...

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks
Sorry if this has been mentioned before but I'm only skimming this thread as I'm not getting the book until Thursday and I hate myself enough already for slightly spoiling it. However, if I can make the assumption that this book is a dossier compiled by "The archivist", then I can presume ...

Re: NON SPOILERS: Twin Peaks: Season 3 on Showtime Thread
I have no idea what's went down with Sherilyn in regards to S3. I honestly think a believable story arc for Audrey would be that she received horrific burns in the blast and that she lives a hermits life in the house/Great Northern. Let's face it, she was a great character in my opinion, one of my t...

Re: 'The Secret History of Twin Peaks' novel by M. Frost 10/18
Just came to post the same thing Ped. Very excited about this. A phone call to the GFT will be required when I get a moment. Man. This is great news. I left a voicemail and got a call back. The girl seemed very surprised the news was out. Was all "How did you find out this was on?" Anyway...

Re: The first line of TP's central mystery
It's certainly a strange way to tell the police that you've found a dead body for sure, but there was a lot of strange things in Twin Peaks and the pilot. Pete Martell wasn't your average joe and this way of introducing us to the wonderfully weird characters fits right in with the vibe that's set. T...

Re: Twin Peaks Poll - First Time
I first experienced it on original airing on the BBC but I never caught every episode. I had a parent and sister who watched it religiously. I was 10 and perhaps a bit young to fully appreciate. In my teens I then rewatched on VHS (S1 only) and then the Bravo re-run. I'm pretty sure the Bravo UK re-...

Re: Music From The New Series
I'm pretty sure in a previous thread a while back, It was asked what your hopes and wishes are for S3. I wished that the soundtrack would contain some re-recorded original tracks along with a mix of brand new score, original Lynch music and some classic gems. I seem to have got one wish granted. Del...

Re: Itunes Leaked Pages(Spoilers)
I got as far as the first Lewis and Clark journal entry and then stopped myself from going further. There is no way that a digital version of this book will be even 1% as good as a physical edition. To be honest, at first glance, it's as expected. A compiled dossier has been found (which we know) an...

Re: 'The Secret History of Twin Peaks' novel by M. Frost 10/18
I was hoping he would do Scotland on his UK tour. I'll second that. With London, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle and Bath all confirmed, I was expecting at least Cardiff, Glasgow or Edinburgh and Belfast and Dublin. Getting too close to these dates now with no news. I think the Newcastle Q&A a...

Re: What is the audience?
To me, I would say the return to Twin Peaks is a mixture of a few factors for Lynch and Frost. Unfinished business after the off-screen shenanigans of S2, a chance to make TV history again perhaps and a little love letter to the fans who have stuck by it and obsessed over it all these years. Don't g...

Re: 'The Secret History of Twin Peaks' novel by M. Frost 10/18
I can understand if people think this is a "cash grab" and not what, but I've got to be honest, this is just music to my ears. I'll admit, I can afford two books and I can afford to go see Mark Frost in a Q&A if he books a venue in Scotland (Glasgow please Mark!). I'm certainly not loa...
