[Anag] The Giants Intro (Spoilers?)
Been playing with the Giants speech in Episode 1 as potential anagrammed. Not really interested in a debate about whether lynch/frost intentionally hide anagrammed information in the script, or whether it's just post-hoc rationalisation, but would be fascinated by alternative 'solutions' and their a...

Was it just me or did Dougie still have the red cup in his hands after the cops had bagged the cup for prints?

Re: "This is the water, and this is the well..." poem (Spoilers)
All of the other of the Giants original clues are also solvable as anagrams which give further clues that directly relate to the characters in question. i really like that and never seen about it. what are the other anagram re: The Giant Make sense of it. I'll put some S1 notes together in a differ...

Re: "This is the water, and this is the well..." poem (Spoilers)
The owls are not what they seem Anagram: The letters show a name, yet who? It's a great anagram. I enjoy it, I think it at least adds a little extra fun, and I don't think there's any harm in it, but even so, I do not accept this as slam-dunk proof that it was intentionally crafted by the creators ...

Re: "This is the water, and this is the well..." poem (Spoilers)
It might be fun, but to be honest, I don't put much stock in the anagram approach as far as it concerns creator intent. You can find almost anything using anagrams. Indeed you can and in many cases it's just fun messing about. But consider this well known line from the original series, for a moment...

This is the water, and this is the well. Drink full and descend. The horse is the white of the eyes and dark within. Anagram: Leland hits Teresa with this, he twists. Dale C. lends drunk find. Sarah the kind wife, host theory, he twists. End. Not 100% settled on that decryption. But we have Leland ...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)
And unless Mr. C had a bullet-proof vest, the rising from the dead is hugely vexatious and outside the symbolic framework of the original for supernatural agents to intervene in such a dramatically tangible way. Verging on complete bunkum. Are you suggesting that he would be dead because bullets ki...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)
Well we really didn't need that explaining and expanding upon. I mean really. Why does everything need to have a back-story? Just let the Lodgefolk be weirdos. This goes right back to my initial feeling about being too damn obvious with the supernatural stuff. It doesn't come off as weird - it comes...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)
I still have episode 6 and 7 to go... so who knows... I might be wrong. You're not wrong. It doesn't get better, it just continues at the same level. Let Cairon judge for himself but I will be surprised if he is not one of those who react very positively to Part 7 ("at last!!"). Of course...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)
Here is the thing. I want to like the new season, there are elements that I really like, but I just don't seem to connect to any of the characters. I still have episode 6 and 7 to go... so who knows... I might be wrong. You're not wrong. It doesn't get better, it just continues at the same level. P...

Here is a picture of the signs in the TP Sherriff stations back room. Forgive the image quality, it is the best I could manage. TPST-backroom signs.jpg Nice shot. Going to say this is probably standard security procedure, rather than protecting Lucy. However, wasn't the drug-dealer cop from the Ban...
