Re: Lynch to release memior 'Room To Dream: A Life In Art'.
I won't spoil the details for people who are still reading, but there are a couple of really hilarious stories of Lynch's meetings and conversations with Marlon Brando in the 90s. Lynch and Harry Dean Stanton unsuccessfully tried to get Marlon Brando to play one of the cow/people in "Dream of t...

Re: Lynch to release memior 'Room To Dream: A Life In Art'.
Towards the end, it's revealed Lynch wrote a new screenplay in 2010 called "Antelope Don't Run No More" that everyone who's read it says is one of the best scripts he's ever written. Nobody offered him the money he felt he needed to produce it, but I suspect this is the one he mentions to ...

Re: Theories & Speculation
I wonder if the reason Cooper goes back and leads Laura Palmer out of the woods is not to change the past in order to save Laura from her pain and her death that night at the hands of Leland, but instead to save Diane from eventually being raped/traumatized/tulpa-fied by Cooper/Mr. C. Laura was alre...

Re: How would Lynch/Frost tackle Season Four?
I don't know when the full version of this new interview with Mark Frost will be available, but this teaser has some cool bits at the end about his mindset as he set about writing the new Twin Peaks. "We had the opportunity to go back and look at this very large set of characters... and wrap it...

Re: Season 3, The First Draft - Speculation etc.
I do think they reached out to Boyle, and believed they reached out to most of the actors to first see if they wanted to come on board and that the pay would not be much and their shooting schedule would probably only be a few weeks tops for all of them. But I don’t know if she ever went in and rea...

Re: Season 3, The First Draft - Speculation etc.
I don't know what the Piper Season 3 stories are but I always wondered if, as an "old school" type of actress from back in the day, who won a Golden Globe Award for Twin Peaks and got Emmy nominations... I figured she had her representatives ask for more money, and wanted to hold out for m...

Re: Season 3, The First Draft - Speculation etc.
I have a feeling the only Audrey scene in the original script is the confrontation with Richard. I highly doubt they only offered Audrey one scene. Obviously I don't know for sure, but I can't see it. If I had to guess, I suspect Audrey's original scenes were, let's say, too much like Shelly's scen...

Season 3, The First Draft - Speculation etc.
This is an exceptionally long post to get the ball rolling but... I hope we could use this thread to speculate a bit about the original draft of the Season 3 script that Mark Frost and David Lynch gave to Kyle MacLachlan and other key members of the crew to read in the earliest stages of the process...

Re: How Lynch Got Bowie for FWWM
I'm so bummed this was taken off YouTube. I don't know what media company put it together but the woman's on-camera interview recollection of the story was intercut with cool little drawings of all the parties she was talking about (Bowie, Morrissey, Lynch, herself, and this Debbie person). Sound fa...

Re: How Lynch Got Bowie for FWWM
Was it removed? RATS! Apparently, it got yanked. I hope it gets re-added, because the woman interviewed did a great job telling the story. Incase it never gets re-added, here's the story: The woman interviewed in the YouTube worked in the 90's as a music journalist, I believe. (I can't remember her...

Re: New L.A. Times interview w/ Kyle
This is excellent! I particularly felt the interviewer did a good job of (gently) coaxing tiny details from Kyle about his first pass at the script, and his first impressions of it. That comment Kyle made about the original draft of the Return script having more classic Agent Cooper (somehow) is tan...

How Lynch Got Bowie for FWWM
I remember Bob Engels told a story about how David Lynch had an assistant who was a big David Bowie fan, and she was the person who suggested to Lynch that Bowie might be right for Philip Jeffries. Just came across this short video on YouTube that was posted today and has a really cool story about h...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)
The Audrey stuff works so beautifully as its own little chamber piece and also thematically as a puzzle piece in the whole work, but I wouldn’t mind spending 18 hours in an alternate timeline where I could see what L/F would do with a version of TR that gives Audrey more of a spotlight in the centr...
