Re: Did I spot a Twin Peaks filming location in Dynasty?

Wow.. that's amazing! I would never have spotted it- but those are definitely TP sets. Out of interest, what date is this?

Wow... it's so weird seeing the missing Eric Da Re! I think he looks alright too.... just older... and strangely how I imagine Leo looking after all this time.

Re: Cover art, disc details for FWWM Region B Blu-ray releas

I just have absolutely no idea why they would pick that as a cover. None. It seems to bear no relation to the show at all.

Re: FWWM on Blu-Ray To Be Released (Australia) in Feb!!

As much as I like the cover.. it's a bit random...

All I can think is that they were trying to echo Fleshworld. But it's not even that. Strange.

Re: Blue Velvet - the original seed of Twin Peaks?

In addition to what garethw is saying, there seems to be a strong shared theme of the virgin/whore. I would love to see a feminist reading of Twin Peaks, Blue Velvet, Mulholland Drive, or any of Lynch's works sometime, but it seems like he's always got the innocent virgin and the dangerous femme fa...

Re: Population of Twin Peaks

Yep... definitely. It seems to me as though the network asked for the change, which Lynch and Frost (eventually?) agreed to but changed only the sign and not the nature of the show. There was no effort to make this town seem as though it had a population of over 51,000. Thank God! To me, it would no...

Re: American Horror Story

Well, yes... with Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk behind it, it's going to take itself way too seriously and inevitably end up ruining itself within the first series.

Shame. But they have a track record.

Re: Badalamenti on the INLAND EMPIRE soundtrack?

I don't have the answers for this, but it does bring to mind Badalamenti's contribution to the IE soundtrack. He's not credited on any of the tracks, but is listed under "Special Thanks". Yet, I was sure that Rabbits Theme was a joint Lynch/Badalamenti composition born out of MD for the we...

Re: Viennale trailer

I can't stop watching it

I don't even know why... but I really like it. It has something of the Eraserhead about it, mixed with his internet short films. Things like this always get me hoping that he'll eventually make another film.

Re: David Lynch opens Silencio Club in Paris

I checked it out end of last month. Didn't seem to be much going on and it was lashing down with rain.. but still, I was excited to see it.

I'd love to be able to go. Unfortunately I don't think I'm very 'select'

I've been awol for a little while but had to pop back over to check out the fest news! Such an amazing line-up this year, it seems to go from strength to strength. I swear that one day I will suffer the horrendous jet lag, save up and make it! I have to check out some of the videos.. can't wait... I...

Heading to Paris next month. Going to see if I can check it out... see what stage it's at! Sounds really interesting. I'll have to try and get in once it's finished.
