Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

Dougie Jones wasn't wearing the ring, right? Maybe tulpas automatically go into the Lodge when their time on Earth expires. Dougie was wearing the ring. Remember he shrinks and then it falls from his finger in Part 3? Oops, guess I forgot about that. Well ... okay, I don't know why "Diane"...

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

I had the same concern initially, but then decided that he probably just grabbed it while he was getting dressed. My guess is that he's supposed to somehow get it onto Mr. C's finger before he is killed so that he'll be pulled into the lodge/waiting room like Ray was. Yes, although I'm not sure as ...

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

It's interesting that Coop is giving orders to MIKE/TOAM now, like when he instructs him to prepare another seed. MIKE seems a tad too servile in this scene, passively accepting the request. Or it could just be that during his 25yrs residence, Coop was awarded personality of the year (not hard in a...

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

I think you're confused. Think about it this way. David Lynch was born in 1946. His daughter Lula was born in 2012. That makes him 66 years her senior (i.e., he spent 66 years on Earth before she was born). Now, if we were to retcon DKL's birth to 1956, he would only be 56 years her senior. The par...

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

Anyone notice the continuity error from the text that DoppleCoop sent Diane? Two different time stamps between cuts, one from an iMessage and one from a Text Message. Haha. Probably not relevant. I haven't caught up on all the posts in this thread yet, but Mr. C's message didn't go through initiall...

Is there a discrepancy, though? Maybe the doppelganger was created when Cooper entered the Red Room. That'd make him 25 years older than Richard.
Umm no it wouldn't :D

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

So Mr. C didn't manufacture Dougie, right? Coop did? That's what I now figure... why else would Coop know how to make tulpas, and why else would Janey-E be related to Diane? I thought Mr C did make Dougie and now our Coop is making an improved version? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Yeah that's m...

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

Anyway, I just loved the episode! I don't think Audrey is in coma, i think it is in a mental istitution. That is why sheriff truman went talk to ben wjen richard went on the run. Everything was great, but where is Laura? Come on, i am waiting her since episode 2 :( If Audrey is in the lodge, maybe ...

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

But wasn't Dopplecooper "created" when Cooper entered the lodge with "imperfect courage? kornishpyxee Cooper didn't enter the Lodge with imperfect courage. If he did then the Lodge would have completely annihilated his soul. I'm not sure we have to take that literally. It could have ...

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

You guys are giving me a headache. Mr. C told Richard that he was "25 years his senior." That just meant that he was 25 years older than Richard (it doesn't matter how old either one of them is). Now, since we know that TPTR is happening 25 years after the original series, that tells us t...

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

I'm not sure I understand the difference between the two. Would you please explain it to me? Thanks, kornishpyxee every person has a double- doppleganger. cooper and then dopplecooper (the one with the white eyes in the season 2 finale). but you and your doppleganger can create a "tulpa" ...

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

Does anyone have a screenshot of Audrey in front of the mirror? I hear she has an Owl Cave tattoo on her arm. I just looked again and you don't see her arm when she's looking in the mirror. Is the tattoo seen at some other time? When she was dancing she did seem to have a bruise on her left arm... ...

Re: Part 15 - There's some fear in letting go (SPOILERS)

Good catch- this would seem to indicate the Doppelcoop killed Briggs, and challenge the theory that Briggs somehow orchestrated the body switch. This is where stuff gets super messy, though... If Mr. C killed Briggs, he was there when Ruth/Hastings showed up. So... he could have easily gotten the c...
