Re: 'The Secret History of Twin Peaks' novel by M. Frost 10/
I think your first statement is pretty unlikely myself. I do believe the book will contain some post-finale info, but the question is how much? It may just be the last 5% of the book, an epilogue of sorts. Either war, it's still hard for me to believe that anything revealed in the book will be essen...

Re: 'The Secret History of Twin Peaks' novel by M. Frost 10/
Hey, I didn't notice mention of it on this thread, unless I've missed it..anyone know when they changed the text/description on the main teaser page for Frost's book? http://us.macmillan.com/static/fib/twin-peaks/ I know we have good intel that says otherwise but they are still avoiding any kind of...

Re: Development Timeline for the new series?
I just remembered that at one point during the 2013 USC retrospective Frost quickly notes that he was just in a meeting the other day for a show...this stuck out at me because as far as I know he hasn't had a show since All Souls more than a decade ago. Now I am almost 100% certain that he was play...

Re: The Unorthodox/Controversial TP Opinion Thread
Denise was fun, but if she had been played by some no name actor rather than David Duchovny I very much doubt we would be seeing her again. Yep, Duchovny's recast is proof to me that Lynch and Frost are indeed doing fanservice in the new season. You have a really low standard for "proof."

Re: The visual aesthetic of the new Twin Peaks
One thing I would say about the orange/brown hues mentioned upthread: Don't forget that a lot (a majority even) of this season will take place in Las Vegas. So, not exactly the same color palette as Twin Peaks. I have no idea what the show is going to look like and that is one of the two or three mo...

Re: Showtime to Re-broadcast Original Series Early Next Year
More and more I am convinced (by nothing more than my own mind, of course) that it will be daily or close to it - that allows Showtime to create a relentless viral buzz and hype train. "Twin Peaks Month," etc. Articles on every site about every episode, reliving the entire phenomenon. Do ...

Re: Showtime to Re-broadcast Original Series Early Next Year
Showtime is owned by CBS which owns the rights to and is the distributor of the original series.

I wouldn't assume that the mystery person assembling all the documents is a new character/someone we don't already know.

Re: Let's e-mail the Showtime bosses about the reruns
Great job Lost. And it's good to see that Nevins appreciates the fans and will respond to something like that this that most people would consider a minor concern. You can tell he's as excited as we are.

Re: SPOILERS: Twin Peaks: Season 3 on Showtime SPOILERS Thre
I think they'll air the reruns in a marathon over a weekend (possibly multiple times) and then make them available on-demand, kinda like how FXX did with The Simpsons. That's how people consume old content these days. It will still be at least a month or two before the new series premieres though, t...

Re: What happened to Donna? (Casting Spoilers)
Maybe she wasn't available. Maybe she's retired. Look at her IMDB, she hasn't done much more than a few episodes of TV in the last decade. Or maybe she just didn't want to do it. There are lots of possible reasons. It's not that hard to fathom.

Yeah, she's exaggerating. But I'm guessing they haven't seen much.

There's Watts, Forster, Briscoe, Del Rio, the long-haired dude who's name escapes me right now, Scott Coffey...am I missing anyone?

Re: Your reactions when the first episode hits
I don't know but I definitely plan on taking the following day off from work so I can rewatch it once or twice and discuss it here/elsewhere and read the reactions from everyone online.
