Re: Parts 3 + 4 (SPOILERS)
Some of Lynch's compositions in this thing are masterly, he has a painter's eye. The gruesome head / torso scene reminded me of Lucian Freud, and a few of the Lodge scenes have reminded me of another of Lynch's favourite artists, Francis Bacon. I've been meaning to get to this, but haven't had time...

Re: Parts 3 + 4 (SPOILERS)
I'm really surprised how many Twin Peaks fans on a Twin Peaks community board seem to misunderstand key concepts of Lynch and his vision for Twin Peaks. Just a few rants I would like to share. 1. Abstract art doesn't have an "answer" that you are supposed to "get" its about some...

I already did a poll. It's in the season 3 section:

Re: Joan Chen's letter to David Lynch (NON SPOILER)
Josie, assuming she's not making a surprise appearance, is one of many unturned narrative stones, and which could provide part of a rich and exciting season 4. I already wrote this late last night, but Josie, Harry (if he doesn't show up), Annie (if she doesn't show up and isn't dead), Catherine, an...

I hadn't seen that yet. Nice observation.Trudy Chelgren wrote:It's a painting by Lynch, called 'Here I Am, Me as a House'

Re: Parts 3 + 4 (Spoilers)
Cannot describe how much I wish Naido had been Josie. But that scene was so incredible as is. Just hope Ronette is okay. (Probably not) Ronette as in the living person in Twin Peaks, or Ronette as in American Girl in the room? I understand, but there may be a very good narrative reason why Josie do...

Re: Parts 3 + 4 (Spoilers)
my biggest question for ep3: why did 'naido' not let Dale pass through the door marked '15,' forcing him to climb out of the room and sacrificing herself (maybe to 'mother?'), to go back to the room with 'american girl,' forcing him to pass through the outlet marked '3' and to switch with dougie ra...

POLL! Your reaction to Twin Peaks: The Return, pts. 1 through 4 (SPOILERS)
This poll is intended for those who've seen every one the first FOUR parts, so hold off on voting until you've watched them all.
The poll will remain open until the airing of part 5.

Re: Parts 3 + 4 (Spoilers)
Is Goaz wearing a false belly? He's much thinner in real life, correct? What I thought too. I think so. No, that impressive gut is 100% real. You can see it, for instance, in the short film featuring Goaz that came out around the time of the return announcement (and features Goaz waiting for a call...

Re: Parts 3 + 4 (Spoilers)
Did I miss Ronette?! Sort of. Phoebe Augustine was the woman inside the electrical station place when Cooper returns from the roof. She tells him that he has to leave quickly because her mother is coming, the mother being represented by a pounding sound coming from a metal wall/door thing. - Evil C...

Re: Parts 3 + 4 (Spoilers)
I took a long break after the first two hours. I just now finished part 3. It was phenomenal. I had a suspicion that 3&4 might have gotten early release from Showtime due to things not quite getting to where they were going in the first two hours. It would certainly make sense after having seen ...

Re: NON SPOILERS: Twin Peaks: Season 3 on Showtime Thread
I agree. I rarely have. But I remember doing so during the last episodes of LOST while watching live - and enjoying other people's reactions. During commercial breaks of course. Not sure if there will be commercial breaks on this. Yeah, commercial breaks certainly ruin immersion, so might as well b...
