Re: ebay - credit card or moneyorder
Get a PayPal account. You can have it debit your checking account to pay for items. I do use my credit card to pay for just about everything. Credit isn't evil. As long as you pay your credit bill in full every month, you're good to go. I have auto pay, myself, so I never have to worry about the CC ...

Re: Last Book You Read
I bought The Library Of America's Philip K. Dick Collection a couple of years ago. I'd already read and enjoyed The Man In The High Castle previously. It was still very pleasing. I lost interest after The Martian Time-Slip , however, a pretty weak book. Not sure where I should pick up now. Perhaps ...

Re: Kyle MacLachlan discussing Twin Peaks vs. Desperate Hous
Dunno, but I loved DH. When I'd see the ads for it on tv, it looked like dummed down tv to me, but luckily, I did give the pilot a gander via Netflix rental...and I was sold on the series! Re: Hurricane Sandy
I'm fine, Rebel. I live in western mass. We just had some high wind gusts, but had no damage beyond a few small tree limbs which fell in the road.
Soo tragic for the jersey shore. I feel so badly for those folks.

Re: Twin Peaks, WA, today
God I love Snoqualmie. I was just there a few months ago, for the 2nd time in my life. It struck me that if you're going to head-over-heels obsessed with a TV show or a film, how lucky are we that we actually have the opportunity to go to a specific place and can immerse ourselves in it? And that e...
