Topic: What other TV shows do us Peak Freaks like?!

Maybe I'm a big nerd, but I've always had a soft spot for the British sci-fi series DOCTOR WHO. The original series was my favorite show when I was a kid until I saw TWIN PEAKS; I always thought it'd be cool (and make for good fanfic) if the TARDIS were to show up in Twin Peaks. Dale Cooper's charac...

I absolutely love Albert until he has his "transformation." He was my favorite character up to that point. But then I found it a bit strange how he completely changed, and while I liked the weirdness of it, I missed the old Albert!

He and Harry could've been a lovely couple though :P

Maybe I'm just getting used to/resigned to what we have to deal with, but I kinda don't mind it. I think the back cover with the train car looks nice!

I'm so excited!!!!

I totally respect your opinion on this! It's fun to argue about though, isn't it? :) So on that note (and with all due respect, of course), I would disagree with a few things you've said. Yes, I agree that Bobby said that to Dr. Jacoby so it may not seem to fit, but James does talk to Donna in the p...

Can I just say how excited I am about this CD next week? I think I'm maybe even more excited about the CD than the gold box set (though don't get me wrong, I'll happily take both). It's a very good month to be a Twin Peaks fan! :D

Yes, Prochnow is the "Woodsman," aka the guy with the beard slapping his knee in reverse. And I know Calvin Lockheart is in that same scene in the Lodge, but really briefly as the "Electrician."

I agree, and they edited BOB's appearance out of it. You'd think they'd have picked a more iconic moment from the series, but something's better than nothing!

Really? I would absolutely consider FWWM to be canon. I consider all 30 episodes, FWWM, and the officially-licensed books (the diary, Cooper's autobiography, and sure, I guess the Access Guide too) to be primarily what makes up the TP canon. While I agree there are significant continuity errors betw...

TWIN PEAKS made the cut (they're not in any particular order, just alphabetical); here's the little article, with a video clip...

Yeah, but people are able to physically see BOB, himself. Laura certainly saw BOB (more so than she ever saw Leland; she didn't see him until she was "ready," as we saw in FWWM), and Maddy finally saw BOB for a moment before Leland killed her. So I just assumed that Ronette saw BOB as well...

For the most part against. I think it's pretty darn perfect as is, and for me at least, the show really feels very evocative of a specific time and place in the world. It was lightning in a bottle if you will, and I think that's difficult to re-capture. That being said, I'd be the first one glued to...

I was also pretty young (about 12) when I first saw the pilot. My parents wouldn't let me watch the show, but a friend of mine had the VHS of the European pilot, so I saw it with a couple friends. By the time the opening theme was over, I was pretty much in love, and this only continued to increase ...

Kyle hasn't done THAT badly since "Peaks"; at least he's worked steadily since, which is more than you can say for a lot of 'em. He did have a pretty big role for a while on "Sex and the City" and is now in his second season as a regular on "Desperate Housewives," which...

He's really wonderful on the show. I don't know that I love the show as a whole (Bret Harrison is cute though), but it's seriously the best thing I've seen Ray Wise do since TP, and you can absolutely see our Leland shining through! I just wish he was in more of it, instead of popping in and out inf...

Julee Cruise - "Live in London" bootleg?

So while I was on my favorite file-sharing program (shhh, don't tell!), I stumbled upon a bootleg of something called "Julee Cruise - Live in London," which included 10 tracks in pretty fantastic, clear quality, especially for a live amateur recording. And I'm guessing it's older too, sinc...
