Oh, and Jack's not only has the drapes, but VERY similar statues to the Lodge. (I suppose Jack's is either heaven or hell depending on your perspective.)
(As an aside, anyone else notice the "drapes" in the opening credits?)
(As a further aside, Coop loves him some cherry pie.)

Re: MISCELLANEOUS launched!
Terrific site!
I'm not 100% sure, but I think there's a little owl behind the Log Lady when she says "The Owls won't see us in here."
I've also spotted owls in the Palmer living room and at Jacoby's.

Re: "Do your palms ever itch?" All things Audrey
One of the things that I LOVE about TP is that the show reveals itself to you over time. It's got its own internal language and logic. When Audrey gets to One Eyed Jack's, she demonstrates her "qualifications" to Blackie by tying a cherry stem in a knot. (Not only is it a beautiful use of ...

Where Season Two fell apart
Season two (after Maddy's death) had three fatal flaws: 1. There are very few bad, freaky, or scary people. Bobby, Ben, Catherine, Mike, Jacoby, and Jerry (who all added layers of sleaze and malevolence to the first season) have all decided to be good. Josie, Leland, Blackie, Jean, Harold, Jacques, ...

Re: Sherilyn Fenn's latest projects & career
Not to threadjack, but Sheryl Lee was originally supposed to play Mary Alice Young on Desperate Housewives.
I don't know why Sheryl couldn't make it, but they put Brenda Strong in instead. Brenda Strong played Jones in Twin Peaks.

Re: Nitpicking "Twin Peaks"
When Cooper goes to One Eyed Jack's and meets up with Jacques, after the blackjack game is over (Jack's, Jacques, blackjack) they sit down to have a drink.
Jacques gets two beers, and downs one. In the next shot, he still has two beers, when he should have at least one empty glass.

Re: Character vs. Character Development
The first few times I saw the series, I thought of Cooper as being an infallibly good character. A "Boy Scout," if you will. Upon more recent viewings, I'm not sure that's the case. When Cooper and Big Ed go to One Eyed Jack's, not only is Cooper out of his jurisdiction in Canada, he's got...
