It also looks like Madchen Amick will be on CBS's "The Talk" this Friday.

Don't know if this has been posted, but MacLachlan will be on the "Tonight Show" on Thursday. Does anyone have info about any other participants on talk shows?

Re: One reason to worry about the quality of Season 3
Go on then... Many things make me feel this could be a train wreck; don't feel like cataloguing them at the moment. The one mentioned in this thread isn't one of them, though. You could say the same thing about any actor you know who you watch in anything. What worries me about the fandom and expec...

Re: One reason to worry about the quality of Season 3
Plenty has me worried about the potential that this could be awful, but the popularity of the actors certainly isn't one of those things.

Re: NO SPOILERS: Twin Peaks Season 3 on Showtime May 21st 2017
For me, the main appeal of this new show is that it's Lynch directing the whole deal. Even though "TP" got me into Lynch at ages 13-15 during its original run, I became more a fan of his than the show. I never wanted the show to come back and was very apprehensive when I read the news (and...

Re: [No spoilers] Level of excitement for the new characters?
I have to admit that I'm mainly interested in seeing the original characters (or versions thereof) and not too invested in the new ones. I think I'm the opposite. I'm finding it more interesting thinking about how the new cast will be used, and have less interest in the older actors with the except...

Re: [No spoilers] Level of excitement for the new characters?
Caleb Landry Jones feels like someone who could have a bigger role as possibly a weirdo or bad guy. He was pretty good in "Get Out". I wonder how much Tom Sizemore had to do. Wouldn't surprise me if his role is bigger because he fits into the Hopper/Blake mold of the troubled actor being g...

Re: [No spoilers] Level of excitement for the new characters?
This cast list is so odd and unexpected. A few times I've looked at it and realized I'd forgotten so-and-so was on it.

At least he's not smoking on it, although I don't doubt he had a cigarette in his hand during the shoot.Agent Earle wrote:Lynch looks classy as hell on this new cover. ACES!

Re: NO SPOILERS: Twin Peaks Season 3 on Showtime May 21st 2017
Have these various teasers actually been shown between programs on Showtime, the channel itself, or have they been released solely online?

Re: How would you rank David Lynch's films?
I'm honestly suprised that so many people have "The Straight Story" ranked at the bottom. To me personally it was one of the most powerful Lynch's movies, with beautiful cinematography and superb performance from veteran actor Richard Farnsworth. Eventough the film didn't include surreal ...

Re: How would you rank David Lynch's films?
I'm no longer the biggest fan of "ranking" stuff, but if I had to rank 'em best to worst, this is probably what it'd be. I go back and forth on some. My list is pretty atypical, I realize. Sometimes I feel like the bottom two could be interchanged as being the worst. Blue Velvet Eraserhead...

Re: NO SPOILERS: Twin Peaks Season 3 on Showtime May 21st 2017
Does anyone else feel that Lynch's persistent comments that this is going to be a "film in 18 parts" indicate that the episodes won't follow typical TV episode structures (as the original series did)?

I think it'll be the original theme, probably re-recorded, with similar style outdoor scenes, and on every episode.

Re: Twin Peaks world premiere in Cannes
It's pretty fitting. Isn't it sort of generally accepted that the main reason Lynch won the Palme for Wild at Heart was because of the acclaim of the original series at that same moment, more than for the opinion of that film itself? Didn't episodes of the series also screen at the festival?
