Re: What new merchandise do you want to see?

I'll take that 25-years-delayed Nintendo video game any day now.

Failing that, I would kill to see Telltale Games make an episodic RPG side-story set between the original and now, as they have with Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead. But I expect Lynch would never allow that.

Re: Confirmed Returning/New Characters

No, we went over that a few months ago. It was a misunderstanding and was corrected (on the same twitter account).

Please use Ross's thread if you want the up to date information.

Re: Lost vs. Twin Peaks - A Comparison

I understand how you feel and I respect it. As I said, I may be in the minority - the larger public seems to adore the show and venerate it. I just feel how I feel. I gave it a more than fair shake, but it never coalesced for me.

Re: Lost vs. Twin Peaks - A Comparison

I'm not sure I agree with this. ABC sold the show that way and the writers tried to answer as much as they could (which was really nearly everything, sometimes awkwardly blunt, sometimes brilliantly subtle), but the show was pretty clearly about a group of people more interested in trying to move o...

Re: Lost vs. Twin Peaks - A Comparison

I recently read Javier Grillo-Marxuach's very long piece about his time at Lost . I know some of his other work, and both there and in his essay I admired his talent, passion and imagination. I came away from the read thinking the show was staffed by a number of really creative, driven people in the...

Re: Wishes...Hopes...& Dreams

I think FWWM is fantastic and essential, and I want it to be a part of the new show. But I think to say that any of it is a rejection of the series is not quite the case. Lynch's thing has always been presenting both darkness and light - both true goodness and true evil. There is a lot of the latter...

Re: Possible SPOILERS: S3 casting & returning actors/charact

There is no "rumor" that Grant Goodeve is playing Harry - it was wild (and wrongheaded, IMO) spec. Spec often turns into "rumors" in a vacuum. And I feel very certain he's not.

Re: Possible SPOILERS: S3 casting & returning actors/charact

Pretty sure they're more likely to be alluding to BOB or Donna. I think it would be extremely premature or farfetched to suggest it's Audrey.

Re: Thoughts on 'The Autobiography of F.B.I Special Agent Da

I adore the autobiography. I would love to know more about some of those cases. I also wouldn't mind some kind of new spin-off tie-in today - if, let's say, the Bad Dale has been out and up to no good with none the wiser these last 25 years, he may have made Windom Earle's reign of terror look like ...

Agreed. We can officially add Everett McGill and Wendy Robie, for one (er, two).
