Christian1989: Thanks. That makes it simpler. I read the other thread, but I never saw what it was that seems so funny to the Norwegian audience. Is it just a shock to suddenly hear your own language in a foreign film? Another shock is to see David Lynch's crew working for Kingsley"” that must ...

Also, we are told that the two leads in 4-7 were killed. "Queen Kelly", so I read, killed the careers of both Gloria Swanson and Erik von Stroheim. Some say it is because they argued too long over it, others say that this silent film was buried when talking pictures appeared about the same...

Yes, there it is! I have no easy way to explain it but it's a wonderful surprise! It's like when they are having trouble with the lights, one guy is speaking another language which I assume is Polish. Is he the same guy who asks about the toilet paper later?

So he takes the gun and brings it into the other story, the story of Sue, and puts i...

OK, I see your point about sieben/siben ... but I think the main point here is that an idea can come without the artist knowing why (such as 4-7) and it will bring its meanings with it and be developed later. Mostly a Kinski reference. What I am asking is if Król and Cole sound alike. I think there...

I've seen a good amount of discussion about where Jack Rabbit sits and so have gone back to watch it to check. I'm convinced that he sits in Dern's place. Lost Girl is the only one who sees the rabbits and occasionally Jack Rabbit leaves the room to do things that seem to serve her cause of becoming...
