Re: Your reactions when the first episode hits
At this point in time I can't even begin to wonder what sitting down to a new episode of Twin Peaks will feel like. I still remember the crushing devastation I felt as a 12 year old watching that final scene with Dale Cooper. For us fans to get another go at this show and for that character to poten...

I agree with this 100%.

Thanks a lot for that Sir.
I definitely see the potential for further investigation into their strange detour north. I'd love to see the mythology expanded upon in this new book.
Unfortunately the cheapest I can find the Access Guide in the UK is £65 on Amazon. A little bit too steep....

Re: Beyond Season 3?
I don't think we can really get too much into this discussion without seeing what they have in store for us in season 3. Given Lynch and Frost wrote the script over a 3 or 4 year period, I have a feeling that what we will get will have a very definitive ending. I don't think they'd want to leave the...

Does anyone has more details on this?
Yeah, I wondered this too. It sounds very intriguing.

Re: OT: The X-Files revival
Agreed 100%.
I even said to my better half that this just felt like the season 2 finale of Millennium.
We can only hope lessons are learned from this any any future episodes are more thought out and allowed room to breathe.

Re: OT: The X-Files revival
I'm the staunchest defender of the show. I even like most of season 8. I'm struggling with this season though. It was absolutely all over the place and the shifting of the running order just led to inconsistencies, especially in Mulder's attitude to William. I agree though. The episodes that weren't...

Re: OT: The X-Files revival
The scary thing is Chris Carter has had over a decade to try and make sense of his mythology. Instead he chose to completely ditch it and delivered a giant slap in the face to folks like me who grew up rewatching all of the old classics like Tunguska over and over again. Parts of the new season were...

Re: OT: The X-Files revival
Dear God.
The season finale was possibly even worse than the season 9 finale.
One thing I have learned from this season (which I had forgotten I already knew) is that Chris Carter is a terrible, terrible writer and an even worse director.
So disappointed with that.

I'm so happy for you all, and that you can enjoy this very great book. I'm afraid I will not be able to do since my "beloved country, Spain" certainly not edited. I've seen will be edited in Germany, Italy, France, ect. but I have not seen Spain. This article points to a release in Spain....

Re: OT: The X-Files revival
I was a massive X-Files fan back in the day. Really enjoyed the mythology up until the end of season 7. That side of it became incredibly convoluted in season 9 which, along with the downturn in quality of the show as a whole, left me with a bitter feeling towards it. Nevertheless, I was looking for...

Re: Where (and when and who) were you when you found TP?
I was 12 when Twin Peaks started airing in the UK at 9pm on a Tuesday night. I remember being intrigued by the advert for the show which showed Catherine firing that poor guy at the mill. I was intrigued by the mystery of the show in a way that nothing else had ever done for me at that age. I watche...
