Re: List of all the unsolved mysteries (SPOILERS)

by Framed_Angel Often those dreams would contain elements of his past -- fragmented and often skewed context, picking up bits of recollected Peaks life... but also past investigations his career w/ the FBI brought to his attention. Criminal activity as far away as Vegas that circulated among his pe...

Re: Poll: Would you like to see a 4th season happen? (SPOILERS PERMITTED)

Unsure. If Frost wants to assume dominant control for a full season, I wouldn't mind that. As long as he's willing to kill characters off, have things end not always cheerfully, and go where the story dictates to keep things unpredictable. Lynch I would like involved as well. I just think the initia...

Bob

As we all know, Bob was the overarching big bad in the first 2 seasons. A lot of mystery surrounding Bob as there is for other lodge entities as well. We don't know a lot about Bob's history but he seemed to be around a summer cottage that Leland went to as a kid at least as far as his 90's origin g...

Re: List of all the unsolved mysteries (SPOILERS)

by krishnaspace I too am not clear on what happened in Part 17,18 clearly so I am just going to put Part 17,18 as the questions themselves I like your list of questions. My method slightly different; just backtracking through various scenes and then creating a cluster of questions around each gener...

Re: FINAL POLL!!!!!!! Your Reaction to The Return as a Complete Work

I'm unsure at this point whether its ending does itself more justice as a self-contained story responding to an older work, or as the finale to that older work. I'm also not sure if Laura and Cooper's story, which previously ended with their shared scene in Fire Walk With Me, is done more or less j...

Re: List of all the unsolved mysteries (SPOILERS)

2 birds 1 stone: Presumably he would've probably made the 2 birds 1 stone comment to Cole sometime between his camping trip with Major Brigg's and the last episode of S2 but by then Laura's murder had already been solved... Cole must be misremembering Coop's last words to him or the plan with him, b...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

After all is said and done, I'm cringing in advance at everyone begging for a season 4. Lynch and Frost do not deserve a season 4. They got their season 3 with full reign- more episodes than they wanted to give, more budget, more time, etc etc There was no resource made scarce, and with all that th...

Re: FINAL POLL!!!!!!! Your Reaction to The Return as a Complete Work

I can percieve 90's Twin Peaks and this as 2 totally separate projects. Yes, storylines from 90's stuff connects to The Return but I think the 90's stuff can still exist on own for those that disliked this. I put heavily mixed leaning towards dislike. I DEFINITELY want a season 4. I think there's a ...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

I don't know where to start. That sure was something else the way the series wrapped up. I think I'll regard Twin Peaks:The Return as something connected to 90's Twin Peaks yet separate at the same time to keep perception intact. So many years passed since the original series and movie came out, I t...

Re: List of all the unsolved mysteries (SPOILERS)

Wow, don't know if I feel let down by last 2 episodes or not. Just kind of like what the heck? Here goes... Episode 17: The Plan: Gordon/Coop/Major Brigg's Plan to Find Judy: When did this happen? ( presumably between camping trip coop took with brigg's and last episode of season 2? ); Gordon Cole k...

Re: S3: Make Your Peace Now with the Ending You Dread (SPOILERS)

I'll add some more: -Narrative diverts to Laura is the savior akin to Christ's return to earth sort of thing that goes on and on that feels like real departure from original series -Trying to tie things up with a conventional happy ever after ending also -The Freddy storyline going out of control di...

Re: What you want to see in the final two episodes.

A cliffhanger. Well, that's how Season 2 ended so I think happily tying everything together in conventional manner not best route. As long as it's not something like not telling us what DoppleCoop was after and then ending it right before we find out sort of thing I may or may not feel good about. ...

Re: List of all the unsolved mysteries (SPOILERS)

Pertaining to the question for how coop woke up found few interesting threads pertaining to fan theorizing well before episode 16 aired gives plenty chew on ( neither totally true but I think parts are ): Time being the factor that woke him up as well as glass box being trap: https://www.reddit.com...

Re: A Simple Poll: Is Richard toast?

I voted Yes evening the vote. I do think it's possible for Linda to be Richard's better half though... Only time we've heard Linda is that lady at the trailer park. The reveal of Linda hasn't happened yet... Perhaps a Richard in drag? That scene with Gordon Cole and Denise at the beginning sort of m...
