Re: Episode 12
LOL that is such a 1980s action-movie moment.Did Harry really need to slam the bouncer's head into the door to open it?

Re: Episode 11
Would the fight in the diner not wake Norma? I'm assuming the Jennings house is out the back of the diner - otherwise it seems a bit strange Hank would change into his pyjamas before leaving work. I assume Norma lived somewhere else and isn’t at a comfort level yet of allowing Hank to sleep in the ...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?
My guess is that he will announce a new project, but we will be as uncertain tomorrow as we are today whether it is TP or not.

Re: Daily Weather Report: The Return
Is this the most bearded we have ever seen Lynch? Are the multiple ZZ Top references a hint that he plans to grow it out?! Discuss.

Re: Happy Birthday David!
Birthday.gifI almost forgot to wish Mr. Lynch a very happy 75th birthday. Belated happy birthday to the greatest living filmmaker! And I’m now reminded of the classic story when David, on his birthday on inauguration day 1961, as a fifteen-year-old Eagle Scout, caught glimpses of four outgoing/inco...

Re: Characters that could still be alive.
I don’t subscribe to a straightforward sci-fi “alternate universe” interpretation of P17/P18. Under such an interpretation, however, I imagine the events that led to both characters’ deaths would still play out. The Eckhardt storyline doesn’t really have anything to do with Laura, so if she disappea...

Re: Episode 1
Just began my own rewatch the other day and concerning the one armed man, isn't it a bit of serendipity that Hawk loses him in a room bathed in blue? We can pretend it's a deliberate attempt to foreshadow a Blue Rose case. One curiosity is that Cooper asks Norma for the list of recipients for the M...

Re: Episode 7
'There's gotta be a way to turn it off' - I've always hated this (presumably looped) line from James as he's still saying it as he turns the music off. I actually kind of like it. Like when you’re saying something that you negate midway through and just feel the need to finish your thought in progr...

Re: Double R Jukebox Records
One left to identify in the original show (the weird hairy arm cover) and two in TR (the one on the left and the one in the middle). The best shots seem to be in Part 11, the shots of Shelly exiting, kissing Red, and returning, for those interested in trying their hand.

Re: Double R Jukebox Records
The second from right is ‘That Duchin Touch’ by Peter Duchin. (Awkwardly altered again to eliminate title, artist name etc.). Now we just need to ID the middle one and we’re off and running to work on TR!

Re: Double R Jukebox Records
TMP helped me ID the one on the far right: ‘Country Music Time’ by Webb Pierce (slightly altered to remove/obscure the artist name, and it looks rather discolored). I saw Webb’s flamboyantly customized Pontiac Bonneville in the Country Music Hall of Fame many moons ago (with six-shooters added in pl...

Re: Double R Jukebox Records
Rewatching episode 5 I spotted another shot of the jukebox just before Maddy enters the diner. It might be a slightly clearer shot of the 3 sleeves on the right, although the centre sleeve is still mostly covered. Thanks! I checked it out. I still think the best shot I’ve seen thus far is in the Pi...
