Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks
IIRC Leland had those pages last. After murdering Laura and dumping the body, his next stop was the Lodge. While they don't show what he does with them, pages are found near the Grove but there's no clear indication what they contain. Alas, but Annie's warning in print may have gone into the Lodge w...

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks
Rami Irola wrote: After all, Richard Beymer had taken photos of Briggs having those white eyes. I wonder if they filmed doppelganger Briggs in Red Room during the filming of the last episode of S2. If they did, I wonder if some of that footage will appear on S3. He's actually pictured rolling his e...

Re: Which actors from the Original Series will make surprise cameos in Season 3 of Twin Peaks?
I can't say without betraying trust, but you're right about Robert Bauer so at least it didn't come from me. I didn't make my statement as a tease, just to be sure, but rather to help assure people that there is a decent handful of actors across at least two of these "cameo" poll threads w...

Re: Which actors from the Original Series will make surprise cameos in Season 3 of Twin Peaks?
Come on, Needleman, why be such a hardass? On the other front, you seem to be very forgiving when it comes to whims and tantrums of certain miss Fenn.... What's so different with MJA? They clearly both have some personal issues and would, I guess, welcome a little support from the fandom. Why not e...

Re: Which actors from Fire Walk With Me will make surprise cameos in Season 3 of Twin Peaks?
It is entirely possible that David L got some time with David B in the run up to the principal photography. The question is, did he shoot footage, like he apparently did with Catherine Coulson, or perhaps spend some time getting a top-quality 3D render of Bowie's noggin, and he'll have a physical st...

I've already spotted three names on that poll that have been confirmed as "in" from various reliable sources, including eyewitnesses.

Re: NON SPOILERS: Twin Peaks: Season 3 on Showtime Thread
I've always likened the contrast between the gloom of the series vs. the warmth of the movie to the darkness that settled in over Twin Peaks after Laura was killed.

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks
Earle is referenced on pp322-23, however no mention whatsoever of his connection to Twin Peaks. Like the murders, the stalking, kidnapping, attempted murder, torture, Project Blue Book, more kidnappings.
Intentional omission. Because he's connected to the Lodge.

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks
If you view the omissions, historical revisions and personality diversions through the lens of the Red Room events of the final episode, a pattern begins to emerge.

OH. MY. If someone caught this already, kudos, but now that I'm examining the typewriter photo under magnification, not only is the "!" key broken (possible clue), but. . . . . .the typewriter doesn't actually read "CORONA." It's just ORO. Gold. -Mordeen EDIT: Corona: crown, or r...

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks
You're right that it has to be intentional. I couldn't find this kind of keyset after some googling. It is also very interesting that the model has german keyset. It seems most of the old portable typewriters didn't have that number 1 key and clearly The Archivist didn't have that either. So it see...

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks
TP annotates that it is "most likely" a Smith-Corona Super G. While it could be a mistake from the graphic designer to not include a more accurate picture of the correct typewriter (pictures of it are all over the place), intentionally altering the keyoard layout in the image to something ...

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks
Here's the real Smith-Corona Super G that The Archivist used according to agent TP: http://thingummery.blogspot.fi/2012/06/baby-you-can-drive-my-typewriter.html As you can see, it doesn't have 1 key either. Not to nitpick, but that's not even close the the one pictured in the novel. The one picture...

I don't believe Frost's statements of pure creative independence on this novel any more than I believe he's being serious about Lana as Miss Twin Peaks.
