Re: Movies David Should Have Directed

My mother made an interesting comment to me this evening: "Why haven't Christopher Walken and David Lynch worked together?" 8)

Re: First time viewer

If you have seven episodes to go, you'd better not judge season two too quickly.

I like all the episodes, but I'm just weird.

Short Story - First Draft - Sleep Paralysis

This is a short story I wrote within the past month that has many David Lynch references in it, so I figured I would share with everyone. 8) --------------- Sleep is something everyone needs, and if you do not get enough, there are side-effects. Dreams come to us all, last a few seconds, but seem to...

Re: what now?

I started the film yesterday, and had to stop halfway through. I'll finish it today... So far, it's good, but a little confusing.  The only things I don't get are: That rabbit show, the girl at the beginning, and the needle... Basically, the whole beginning. Weird camera work too. It's ...

Re: Fire Walk With Me - First impressions

The only big difference from the show is the lack of lightheartedness. It's pretty intense the entire time.

Re: David & Isabella in 1992

After seeing her on the Blue Velvet docu, it's strange imagining her being with David. She seems to think, or appears to, be taken aback by his work.

Re: Blue Velvet turns 21

This was the second Lynch movie I saw. I was really wanting to see it after Richard Thompson mentioned it in a live bootleg.

I knew of it because of the infamous scene with Dennis on his knees, but I never dreamed of seeing it. Truly a work of art, and a highly misunderstood one.

Re: 3rd Season and Leo

Several times I thought about a 3rd season but many of TP actors are dead and now it's harder to think about a third season. In the final episode some scene seems to come back at the Pilot episode (as Heidi arriving late at work and Bobby tells her the same thing he said in the Pilot, Nadine lookin...

Re: What's Your View On Torrents?

Just the 64 bit version, to my understanding. That's why the poor schmuck we saw pilloried a couple of month's ago in the 'show trial' in Ma was said to be the last prosecution planned. Now, they will use tech means. Hmm... It won't last. Record companies got in trouble for having software on album...

Re: What's Your View On Torrents?

I have no moral or ethical problem with them. I dl mostly music, so I usually simply wait for Google to lead me to what I want without the 'middleman' software. As a side-bar, I found the two disc special edition of IE ( which I have owned since its release; I waited long enough for that.) for $3.9...

Does everyone here pretty much think torrents are wrong, or do you guys have no problem with them?

Re: Casting Issue

I have to say that Heather's character came off as very chipper to me. Maybe too chipper. I didn't mind her, though. I have to say that all of the main cast was superb. Pete is one of my favorites. Hank, the character, got on my nerves, but not nearly as much as the blond woman James goes for. I cou...
