Re: The 2012 Twin Peaks Fest
It looks like Swank Motion Pictures (swank.com) may have a 35mm print for rent of Fire Walk With Me. I noticed it in their inventory when I was looking to rent a different title. Hope that helps!

Sheriff's Department Mug question
In light of the crazy fast sell out of the Sheriff's Department mugs, I thought about making one of my own. It wouldn't be as nice, or official, but I really wanted to get one and wasn't able to. Is it bad form to brainstorm on the board how it might be possible? Obviously slapping a sticker on the ...

Re: alive and well in PORTLAND OREGON
Oh man, that would be a great promotional stop for his wine. It would get tons of press, and I bet just about every attendee would buy a bottle or three. (not just the other celebrity guests ) I sure would buy a couple of bottles.

Re: Population of Twin Peaks
Someone at the festival told me that it was in the second floor of a two story building right across (west of?) the street from Twede's diner in North Bend until fairly recently. After that, I don't know what happened to it.

Re: Population of Twin Peaks
If I remember correctly, the population was supposed to be 5,100, but after the failure of another small-town themed show just before Twin Peaks aired, they changed it to 51,217 (forgot the exact number) for the pilot. I think even 5,100 is high for what we saw on the show.

Palmer Residence for sale again
So the Monroe Palmer Residence is for sale again at $300,000. My insane fantasy is to get a group of investors (maybe rich Japanese fans?), buy the house, restore it to look like it did in the series, and basically operate it as a museum. Since I haven't yet won powerball/megabucks, the fantasy rema...

Re: The Booth At The End
It sounds like a "short episode" is one half of a full episode. A full length US tv show without commercials is about 42-45 minutes, which would correspond with 2x23 minutes.

Re: Counterfeit Star Pics Twin Peaks autographs... UPDATED!
So frustrating to see likely fakes pop up. I just don't know why someone would go through the trouble of faking the lesser ($25-50) ones. The big names make sense to me. According to the seller who listed that large lot of cards for sale, they were authenticated "by a local card shop." Not...

Re: The Collector's Corner
The recent discussion of Richard Beymer prints inspired me to take a few quick pics and share my proof sheet. Sorry for the amazingly bad photography. I picked it up off Ebay back in 2000. Can't remember if the seller had more for sale or not, but I definitely wish I had some of the other ones as we...

I'm also a huge sneakerhead, and I love those. Unfortunately, the black room floor pattern is not the sole, it's the insert. But they are still bad-a$$.

Re: What postcards did you get in your gold box?
Ultra makes some three ring binder style sleeves that are not bad. They are two pocket, each pocket about 5x7.5. They are a bit larger than the cards, so the fit isn't the most secure, but if you put them in an upright binder, they work pretty well.

Re: Introductions
Hey all, I'm Will. I'm 31 and from Phoenix, AZ, but finishing up school down in Tucson at U of A. My first Lynch film was Eraserhead, on a super crappy VHS copy in about '95. Fell in love with Twin Peaks on VHS shortly after that. Last summer, I finally was able to make it to Snoqualmie and check ou...

Re: Who's the ghostly face on my FWWM DVD box?
I thought it was meant to convey the idea of evil possession. Sort of a glimpse at the "other side" of Leland, when he was being controlled by Bob. I like the idea, but the execution just looked a bit silly.

Anyone win any cards in the Greetings From TP contest?
Seeing that signed gold postcard got me wondering, did anyone win anything from the contest on greetingsfromtwinpeaks.com. I sent in about 50 entries, haven't heard anything yet, so I assume I did not win anything. When I saw how few gold and signed postcards have shown up on Ebay (or anywhere else)...
