Re: Parts 1 & 2 - My log has a message for you & The stars turn and a time presents itself (SPOILERS)
Rewatched Episode 2 of the original series. Something I never noticed before: The chair Cooper is sitting in in the red room has a leaf pattern. It is very like the one we see him in at the beginning of the new series, if not identical. This can't be a coincidence. And I wonder what this means. Als...

Re: Diane
I'm thrilled. Also amazed at - HOW ON EARTH did the fans know Laura Dern was going to be Diane???? I mean, from the moment we knew Laura Dern was going to be casted, there was speculation that she might be Diane. I joined in, of course, it occurred to me as a splendid idea. And it really happened?!...

Re: Part 6 - Don't die (SPOILERS)
Have there been new part descriptions announced by Showtime? From another thread: Did you guys see this? Apparently the Showtime descriptions for parts 9-12 were revealed today. I can't find anything on the Showtime site, but WTTP is a pretty good source, right? Can anyone confirm the descriptions?...

Re: S3: Make Your Peace Now with the Ending You Dread (SPOILERS)
Well...let's define "closed ending." Are Mulholland Dr & Lost Highway closed endings? They give us all we need to know, and feel self-contained, but leave many questions. Yes, I'd say that those are closed endings. My feeling about Twin Peaks is that it should feel like it keeps going...

Re: Part 6 - Don't die (SPOILERS)
When Coop runs his finger over the 7 on the Lucky 7 Insurance case files, it reminded me of the markings on the coffee cups that the Glass Box watchers were drinking from. I thought of the red room floor. Then he drew a lot of stairs(?). which were also like zig-zags. Stairs and ladders. I haven't ...

Re: Part 6 - Don't die (SPOILERS)
I am even more convinced that Richard Horne is Audrey's child. Aside from the supernatural aspects of the character (which points to a non-mundane parentage) Huh? :?: :?: :?: The non-mundane parentage is a reference to my theory that he's also the Evil Cooper's child, Audrey is of course a normal p...

Re: Part 6 - Don't die (SPOILERS)
I loved Part 6. I think this one seemed like the last one in terms of feeling more like an episode (at least to some of us). I was riveted the whole time. Maybe I'm in an extreme minority, but I actually like the Dougie-Coop scenes. Cooper is my favorite character in television and film, and I know ...

Re: Theories & Speculation (SPOILERS)
Cooper's doppleganger is a completely different body and there's no reason to think good Coop will necessarily have to share any of his memories. I think there was probably only supposed to be one Cooper body. If it turns out that Bad Coop's fingerprints are reversed, then that could be a function ...

Re: Part 5 - Case files (SPOILERS)
I haven't read The Odyssey in a long time, but I'm curious as to whether Frost's love of Joyce may have inspired him and Lynch to create a Ulysses style episodic journey for Cooper. The parallels probably wouldn't be exact, just as in Joyce's deployment of the material. For example, doesn't Ulysses...

Coop travelling through the power socket which brought to mind respectively - Andy daydreaming of a horned little Nicky and Josie in the doorknob. I don't think I've posted in this thread before, but I have to say, I have been a big fan of the effects thus far. Magic, supernatural (whatever) things...
