Re: Has there been an email campaign to Criterion about FWWM?
The writing of this film in my opinion is as good if not better than any the best Twin Peaks Episodes, including the Pilot. My hope at the very least is that through some of the articles I've recently published, even the casual fan will take a gander and realize that there is some really amazing st...

Re: Has there been an email campaign to Criterion about FWWM?
Good advice John Neff, but do you think an email campaign would really get MK2 to give the rights to David? It seems to me that it's up to David to call up MK2 and ask for the rights and the best we can do is continue to email and petition MK2 so they'd be more open to any deal involving the release...

Re: David Lynch Lime Green Box Set Discussion
On the Eraserhead DVD in the "Stories" bonus feature I've noticed a greenish tint (some might say lime green tint, in fact) passing over the screen from time to time. It always has this tint no matter what TV I watch it on. Luckily the film itself is not affected by this and my enjoyment o...

Thanks. MD is one of the most beautiful films I've ever seen. It's so shiny.

I haven't seen the American version (even though I am American) because I thought it looked pretty bad but I might watch it on your recommendation. Thanks.

Re: Eraserhead screening at Brooklyn Academy of Music next week
I know this is an old post but I had to comment. This screening is what first got me into David Lynch. I went to it at the recommendation of a teacher and was not dissapointed. Luckily I have been able to see Eraserhead in a cinema a couple of times more since then (at the IFC center). So thank you ...

Life on Mars (the TV show, not the song) *spoilers*
Just finished watching the British version and I thought it was great. A friend recommended it to me in response to me introducing him to Twin Peaks, so I thought that was quite fitting as both mix realism with surrealism very well. Has anybody seen this show here? What did you think? I thought that...

Re: Last Film You Watched
Yes! I saw it in theaters when it came out and more recently on DVD and I love it. It reminds me of a real-life Christopher Guest film. I hear Hollywood is even making a non-documentary version of it.Jerry Horne wrote:Has anyone else here seen the documentary 'The King of Kong'?

The new trailer looked good so I'm pretty excited. I was always planning on seeing it but it was only when the newest came out that I wasn't disgusted with the fact that this film exists.

Great story kerplooey. I'm also a big Chris Ware fan. Jimmy Corrigan is one of my favorite books of all time.
