Knowing what we know now, why in the world was Theresa Banks' murder a Blue Rose case?
Does anyone have any remotely good reasoning behind this? There seems to be little to no inklings of the paranormal until Chet and Sam actually go and investigate. And most certainly nothing about any mysterious doubles. Oh lord, Season 3 frustrates me so much haha

Re: General Discussion on the New Series (All Opinions Welcome)
Random thought but I really wish they had some stuff on the Bookhouse Boys in the new season. It was a part of the older season that I thought was one of the most interesting. If BOB and company only truly got summoned into the world during the nuke test, then I want to know more exactly about what...

Re: Original Season 3 Plans
Even sections of Season 2 that a lot of people find cringe-worthy, I still have a whole lot of appreciation for. One thing that comes to mind is Dead Dog Farm. That was a very interesting set, especially what the realtor lady had to say about it... about how the best and worst people are drawn to it...

Re: Original Season 3 Plans
Lynch would of course never allow it. I wonder how Lynch feels about Engels and Peyton these days. Peyton, who he allegedly didn't get along so well with, is doing excellent work on SyFy's deeply underrated Channel Zero anthology. I think both men did wonderful work on the original series and the b...

Re: Original Season 3 Plans
All the ideas for the 90s Season 3 sounded so terrible to me, the exception being Briggs saving good Cooper from the Black Lodge. That plot point sounded so awesome...

These recent Lynch and Maclachlan quotes sound suspicious... in a good way. I think they're hiding something and more Twin Peaks has already been quietly churning into motion

Re: Theories & Speculation
As to the other two Dougies, I believe that when a tulpa-self is created, the original gives up some aspects of himself. Hence, the gleeful DoppelCoop we saw in Episode 29 has become the dour and joyless Mr. C, having presumably given Dougie-A his passion for sinful behavior (sex/infidelity/prostit...

Re: Cry for help: First supernatural event by Laura?
Fair enough, I just think it's kinda ludicrous to bring Carrie Page into it is all. Well, obviously I don’t meant that in 1989 Lynch had Carrie Page in his mind (who knows?!? ;) ). However some things might work retroactively. It is possible that he had the idea that Laura was special in a su...

Re: Episode 2
Finished a rewatch of Episode 2. Best episode of the first season, after the Pilot. I always liked Episode 2 (or 1, if we're gonna refer to the pilot as episode 0) better than the pilot. Cooper's personality doesn't fully shine through until this episode, he's a bit more of a hardass in the pilot.....

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)
SpookyDollhouse, are you of the "profoundly disappointed" or just plain "disappointed" viewpoint? I mention this because it seems almost every post of yours I've seen in this thread is kinda antagonistic towards the disappointed. Just an observation, I'm not bothered by it and ma...

Re: Sam Esmail interviews Mark Frost
I suppose "I'll see you again in 25 years" is too obvious to be this "Way back in". Wonder what it could be. Judy? Though Frost wasn't involved in FWWM. Evil Cooper cliffhanger? Well that was already a given anyway... HMM

Re: New Stand-alone Parts of Twin Peaks?
I would love the secret history to be made into a series/movie I would also love this! Young Dougie Milford is so awesome, Frost made that character so interesting. Love him in the audiobook especially :) Apparently there's been plans in the past by people to make a TV series based on Jack Parsons'...

In the Reddit AMA today Frost mentioned that this book may have an unreliable narrator. Assuming he is referring to Diane's Tulpa
