Wow. That was great. And it actually made me want to revisit TP:TR for the first time since it aired...
Thanks!

Re: Blu-ray

The film doesn’t seem to be much of a priority for any of its distributors. It took years for it to even make it to DVD in the US. What a damn shame. I love this film. I saw it a couple of times in the theatre but I have trouble watching my DVD of it. All the dark scenes (which are some of the most...

Blu-ray

I looked around for an answer but I can't seem to find any... I am upgrading all my Lynch dvd's to blu-ray and I am having trouble with this one. It seems that there is not a decent version of this out there? Does anyone have any hot tips? Any talk of a collectors edition? I'd love to finally see so...

Re: Shout Factory Collector's Edition Blu-ray out May 22, 2018

Amazon shipped out the uncorrected disc to many of those who pre-ordered, and met the original street date, and I was one of those people. It's a terrific disc (even with the silent menu). If you have the earlier Blu-ray released by Twilight Time in a limited run that's long sold out, I've read tha...

Re: One year later - how are we feeling?

If they were going this route with Coooer as Richard, then I would’ve had Audrey be in the grove clearing and go in the trip... so we think we’re still watching a conventional story... aha, she’s saved. She spies Diane outside the hotel... oh no, she’s back as an evil tulpa or is that the real Dian...

Yeah. Exactly. She went from being the great love of Coopers life to Diane being the love of his life. Or whatever was supposed to have happened there with Cooper and Diane.

Re: One year later - how are we feeling?

The summer of 2017 was The Summer of Twin Peaks. I will never forget it. Yep. I agree with this 100%. And I say this as someone in the fairly disappointed camp. Season 3 had some of the most incredible moments of television/film I've ever seen. There are parts of it that will definitely stay with m...

Re: Shout Factory Collector's Edition Blu-ray out May 22, 2018

Uh oh..... --- While reviewing Wild At Heart (Collector’s Edition), we discovered an error had occurred in the manufacturing process that affected early product. We have corrected the error for retail product, but will have to move the national street date to August 21st. All customers who ordered t...

Re: Shout Factory Collector's Edition Blu-ray out May 22, 2018

They’re interesting. After the first one they’re very short quick reads with a lot of tangential, almost short story-like chapters. Each one moves the story forward by several years, so you see Sailor & Lula age. I enjoyed them. I wrote a more detailed analysis in another thread in this board, ...

Re: Shout Factory Collector's Edition Blu-ray out May 22, 2018

Very exciting. I’m glad the deleted scenes will finally be widely available for all fans (although the selfish part of me is a little sad they won’t be as exclusive anymore). I hope they do some restoration work on them, but I’m not optimistic. I’m excited for the Gifford interview since I just rea...
