Re: Deleted Scenes

The Lime Green box isn't out in the UK yet so... can anyone who has seen them say which WAH deleted scenes are in it? In particular, is the scripted scene where Sailor & Lula go to a garage and when they leave, Dell is spotted cleaning something or other with a toothbrush in there?

Re: FALLING demo

Hmm, after doing a quick search it seems that these were records that came with Warners' Dirt magazine and each seemed to be split 7" singles. Not sure if Dirt was a commercial or trade mag tho...

Re: FALLING demo

Very interesting. The only Soil Sample I've come across before is His Name Is Alive's 'Darling' on blue vinyl. No idea what the purpose of these records were - I'm fairly certain they weren't sold commercially and the HNIA track is one which was left off their (excellent) Mouth By Mouth album. It wo...

Re: Last Book You Read

Thanks Annie! I took a look on Amazon US who don;t seem to have any themselves, although there are a couple of Marketplace sellers flogging it http://www.amazon.com/Evil-Women-Graeme-Larmour/dp/0954953533/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1237328451&sr=1-1 There's an interview with John Nef...

Re: Last Book You Read

Hey, nobody reads anymore?? As the sun has been out today, I've spent a very enjoyable afternoon reading in the garden. Currently reading Cormac McCarthy's The Road, having just finished No Country For Old Men, as well as dipping into F Scott Fitzgerald's short stories and re-reading George Berger'...

Re: FWWM- Before they go to the log cabin

Or possibly the part during the series where Jean Renault & Emroy Battis shoot the video of the captive Audrey? I think Blackie says words to that effect when she sees Nancy there.

Re: Eve Brent as Theodora Ridgely in episode 7

Think this may have been the elderly lady who Audrey serves at the perfume counter.

Loving these ideas. :D Can picture the Audrey/Coop scene in my mind like it was actually in the show.

Would much prefer to have Ross' artwork than the one we're getting. Still, I suppose it's the music that counts, so I'll be getting this CD even if the cover is no more than a blank page with 'Henry's Hair is shit' written on it. Have to say, Ross's design is much more in keeping with the tone of th...

Yes, look again; his name is there. I asked John personally to clarify that. He said he worked from July 2003 until the beginning of December 2004 on the movie (didn't go to Poland with Dave), did all the sound recording for the core of the movie, and wrote the music for "Polish Poem." My...

I bought Bowie's 'Outside' (or '1.Outside' to give the full title) on the strength of 'I'm Deranged' and was not disappointed. In fact there are a fair few songs that are even better on the album.

I didn't even check the time code while watching it, nor at the end, but was it really 90 minutes long ? I mean, it seemed to me lasting 45 minutes. Guess this is good, and we get to hear a longer version of 'Ghost of Love'. The only thing that bothered me a bit was Laura Dern's cut monologue. Not ...

Did anybody else notice John Neff's name in the credits? I thought he didn't take part in this one. According to the Halfcut Publications interview, he was involved in the filming of Laura Dern's monologue which was one of the first things shot for the film, and then the Polish scenes. He wasn't ar...
