Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

Care to elaborate? I don't doubt your judgement, just interested.

Having it in pre-production would be amazing, but it also made me realise that my great hope was for a secret series almost ready to go. I can't relax until the series is completed given the age of everyone involved.

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

I do like living in a world where every interview with Kyle involves a question about new Twin Peaks though. That would never have happened in, say, 2001.

Probably the same. Let's face it- we know nothing at all.

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

Forgot to add: DUNE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cant wait for it. I'm planning to go and see it at least 3 times on the big screen, even if it is crap. Surely, it can't possibly be crap though. I read all of the Frank Herbert novels again last year in preparation, and also watched the TV seri...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

I find Kyle's repeated variations of his stock answer to be reassuring. That's exactly what someone who knew something was going on would say after signing a non-disclosure agreement. The fact that it is also what they would say if nothing was going on shall be ignored! Why is the February date impo...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

I'm still hopeful that we might hear something soon.

But when are we expecting it? I've already forgotten it. Sometime around April? The year seems to be pouring past as usual.

Re: Twin Peaks Season 3, Star Wars, JJ and Fan Service

I didn't see Star Wars until I was 17 or so, and I had seen many films that borrowed from it by then. So I've never been that obsessed with i. The first two (original) films are good. Return of the Jedi is where the rot creeps in, and you can see that it has become "toyetic". The Phantom M...

Jasper: they indeed claimed to be on about something else, but this sort of moves that along for me. They are either totally buillshitting, or there is something in it.

Re: Channel Zero

I've finally got round to watching this, after the raves it was getting on the forum. I'm three episodes in, and it is the best thing I've watched in years. Genuinely creepy, amazing performances that draw you in, superb cinematography and, I say it again, genuinely creepy. I've watched a few shows ...

Re: LMFAP original season 3 script page!

I find it amusing how malleable the material is.

Sabrina: "We can't get the weird dwarf anymore, because he's being too weird".

David: "No probs, swap lines and put a weird brain on a weird tree"

Re: Peaks Fans Top 10 TV shows

For some reason the classic three camera sitcom if done right continues to have the magic.. Absolutely! I've read so many pretentious articles claiming that the sitcom is dead (a lot of them by thick British writers after the office came out), but it's such a genius format. I think the peak of the ...

Re: Peaks Fans Top 10 TV shows

This is such a great idea for a thread! I'm going to be spending years checking out your favourite shows. Glad to see the Prisoner turn up so much here. When I was 15, I watched Twin Peaks and the Prisoner in the mid 90s on the Bravo TV station, and both blew my mind. Nothing has ever come close to ...
