Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

I remember reading a long time ago some old saying women had in Italy, which was something like as you age, you make the choice between your face and your butt. It meant that you can have a face that looks younger, but your butt will be big, or you can have a more svelte figure, but your face will l...

Re: David Lynch Wins Oscar 2019

Very moving tributes.

It's so well deserved, and everybody knows it, which is why they could lavish him with so much praise and do it with so much sincerity.

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

He did lose a lot of weight at some point after The Return. Whether it was the result of a health scare or an all quinoa diet no one knows. That being said, he seems to have full mobility and a clear head, so I think he still has a major project or two left in him, if he decides he wants to do more...

Re: Would level of involvement from Lynch/Frost would you accept should the show continue?

Every episode must be written by Lynch and Frost and every episode must be directed by Lynch, just like The Return.

This is closest to my opinion, but I'd be OK with Lynch and Frost taking Peyton and/or Engels aboard to help with dialogue and whatnot.

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

To go back to the Daily Beast interview with Kyle MacLachlan for a moment, somewhere around the middle, the author mentions that the interview took place at TCA 2019, which places it a month earlier than the rumors, and a month before the article went online. Thanks for pointing that out. I'd wonde...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

That does sound like a reference to the writing being in progress. It could also refer to negotiations with Showtime. Or simply the final scene we saw (even though that was night). But probably the first thing. I think you’re reading way too much into it. The interviewer asked a question and he ans...

Re: RIP Robert Forster

He will be sorely missed. I think that we were truly blessed to have him as a member of the Twin Peaks cast, and I'm glad that he'll live on in season 3 and his many other projects. We were discussing this sad news in another thread, starting on this page: http://www.dugpa.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=...

Re: An Ever-Growing Collection of Quotes Pertaining to the Possibility of a Season 4

Cool! Didn't know about this thread. Going to look through it for the most positive quotes. Perhaps we can paste them over in the main Season 4 thread we're all discussing in at the moment? The George Griffith one above looks promising anyway. I think that a lot, and maybe even most of the quotes i...

Re: An Ever-Growing Collection of Quotes Pertaining to the Possibility of a Season 4

I updated the main collection of quotes with this bit from an article published ten days ago and posted by Soolsma in another thread: The Daily Beast Oct 3, 2019 https://www.thedailybeast.com/kyle-maclachlans-most-shocking-act-yet-from-twin-peaks-to-making-patricia-heaton-laugh I do dutifully ask hi...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

That's the second time since S3 has aired that MacLachlan's come out and expressed his explicit doubts with regards to any possible continuation(s) of the show (can't find the interview in which he stated that firstly, but I distinctly remember it). So I think the writing's on the wall here. Meanwh...

Re: Crescent moon symbol

I like the crescent moon ideas, though I'd point out that Carrie Page's horseshoe pendant likely relates in some way to the infamous white horse. After all, she has a white horse on her mantle, and the place she works, Judy's, has a white horse outside. The horse shows up in other places in S3, like...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

I’ve been busy for hours, and when I finally take a moment to relax I see this news. What a punch in the gut. Robert Forester was one of a kind. He’d just show up onscreen, and whether or not someone knew who he was or not, they liked and related to him right away. That’s a very human type of charis...

Now that is a serious piece of memorabilia. According to at least some of the lore, this plays a direct role in the events of Twin Peaks on the screen, particularly as it relates to the abandonment of the Audrey/Cooper romance.

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

I still have a few issues here and there and wish they'd expanded more on some of the strong TP scenes (such as those featuring Hawk visiting Sarah and things like that) Great scene. That scene, in particular, made me feel as though I was watching a FWWM sequel film. I don't know why no one pays at...
