Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

I dunno, Fenn strikes me as somewhat unstable. I'm not comfortable with such people. And I especially don't like all the religious talk. I stopped taking her seriously when she started with the latter. I don't remember her being like that in the past (like pre-S3 announcement past), but then again,...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

Are we suffering from wisteria frequency illusion? Frequency illusion https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frequency_illusion "Frequency illusion, also known as the Baader–Meinhof phenomenon, is a cognitive bias in which, after noticing something for the first time, there is a tendency to notice it mo...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

I don't think anyone knows anything definitive - maybe, but this Wisteria posting craze is interesting. It makes me wonder if the show itself will be about various characters all connected by one specific thing. Kyle posted some wisteria that's over his own door. Then Sherilyn posted the Japanese w...

The actual reason this is done is to keep costs down. That's why central characters are missing from so many episodes.

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

I'm not sure how big the small studio audience is on Bill Maher's show... but Twin Peaks: The Return had like 200+ actors with speaking parts (many of them just coming in for 1-2 days, plus lots of extras) , so it is daunting to think how logistically that would be possible today. The Lucky 7 insur...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

(Frost also hated Mulholland Drive when it came out IIRC, but seems warmer to it in the Bushman book I think.) This might be true in a sense, but if so, he hated it without seeing it. Here it is from another thread: A quote from an interview with Frost: Luke: "Did you understand what David Lyn...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

I agree that Michael Horse's photo could show an upright conical type of flowering plant, along the lines of Blazing Stars Liatris (but probably not that exact plant). Wisteria hangs downward, and it seems like it usually appears tightly bunched up with a whole lot of additional drooping wisteria st...

Re: RIP Walter Olkewicz

His acting in Twin Peaks and FWWM made his character iconic and indelible, and he was a real contributor to the mood and feeling of the series. I was thrilled to see him in the Return, and even though he's only got the one scene, and is otherwise just glimpsed, it was exciting. I'm grateful that the...
