Re: Part 18 - What is your name? (SPOILERS)

It’s the same Lincoln Town Car Mr. C drives when he crashes in Part 3. Reindeer, do you have any theories as why they might be driving that same car? Well, we have Kyle's outright denial of Mr. C being a part of Cooper in part 18. So, either that's really the case, or Lynch just directed Kyle witho...

Re: The Random Twin Peaks Thread

It’s very quiet again, so here’s another installment of David Lynch art that might mirror Twin Peaks in one way or another. I managed to lose track of the name of this one, but I think it was in a recent show: lynch-tree-head_sm.jpg I Was a Teenage Insect, Mixed media, 2018: i_was_a_teenage_insect_s...

I know, I'm talking about the absence of Waldo pecking on Laura's shoulder, which is supposed to result in Laura being made to bite the poker chip, with Leo saying "Bite the bullet, baby!"

Where's Waldo? https://betweentwoworldsblog.com/2019/12/29/waldo-a-myna-bird-drunk-on-revenge/?fbclid=IwAR09bvgLDeYCMjEIjoZasEnlFIAtzC3HNrQlHNTZ7HBKJ3-bUTP-VJCo_g4  This is one weird take, and that's saying something with Twin Peaks fans, myself included. Even though it's very unlikely, (espec...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

Not sure what you can say, but I wonder if this is something only Frost related or Lynch too? Well, Brad quoted Jerry's post specifically asking about Frost, but I hesitate to read too much into that. Let's see, what would be Mark Frost's dream project that has nothing to do with TP? Perhaps a show...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

Do you guys think that the October event would get postponed based on the covid situation? There's a very serious chance of it. I see that in August they're doing "Virtual Elvis Week" rather than an in-person event. Good weather would probably allow them to do a lot of things outdoors. Th...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

The pandemic WILL (most likely) last for years and the TV/movie industry simply can't afford to wait that long. So they are forced to find ways, and they will. Not great for shows with huge casts generally, but really not great for shows with huge casts that feature large battle scenes and/or many ...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

I'm now not really hopeful for any Twin Peaks continuation on screen. Is this based upon a dislike of the use of screens and similar workarounds, or more upon the general difficulty involved with filming during a pandemic that has no end in sight? (Or is it something else?) I'm not at all assuming ...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

the LED virtual set technology used on The Mandalorian could be part of the solution because it allows for a variety of locations that can be created in limited space, reduce the number of crew needed because of less set construction and the fact that lighting is integrated into the set up. Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

I think whatever project Sabrina/Lynch are hinting at is something akin to What Did Jack Do, shot at home possibly with Lynch playing one of the parts or by utilising combined forms of animation etc (and phoning in voice actors who Lynch can direct remotely). They seem to be pushing the David Lynch...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

A while back in the disappointed thread I suggested they film a Dougie Jones Las Vegas prequel (I think the name suggested was "Blue Desert Rose" or "Twin Peaks: Dougie Talk To Me") exploring the original Dougie's final seven days, 119 mom, Lucky 7 shenanigans, connections betwe...

Re: LMFAP original season 3 script page!

On a related note I always assumed the reason Mike/Philip and the red room appear to exist slightly below floor level when Dougie encounters them in Vegas is presumably because those scences had already been filmed with Michael J. Anderson, so in Kyle's reaction shots he was natuarlly looking downw...

They could do a prequel to the Return, including what happened as a result of this ring theft. (I don't imagine that things went particularly well for our nurse.)

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

If they are actually working on something TP-related, at least we know that Lynch/Frost have ample experience doing collaborative writing in a socially-distanced manner. (Though if it is TP, the writing might be largely done.)
