Re: Sherilyn Fenn confirmed for TP Fest

It's too bad "heavyweights" like Ray Wise and Richard Beymer don't join the festivities :)

Re: Let's talk changes: how would you change FWWM?

Yes, but although the idea of a planet of corn wasn't explored in FWWM, there were still hints of it, wasn't there? I'm thinking of the scenes from the convenience store, where they sit eating creamed corn/garmonbozia? The "lost like a turkey in the cornfield" bit was probably a coincidenc...

Re: Let's talk changes: how would you change FWWM?

The worst part is that Laura was not the Laura we knew and loved from the series. Laura from the series was kind, sweet, flirtatious, soft-spoken, and popular, which made her death a shock to the community. The film Laura was so dour, so angry, and so odd the whole time... I thought the way she act...

Re: Twin Peaks evening w/Robert Engels in LA on April 9

I don't think depicting Bob etc on a planet of creamed corn would be a problem at all. Lynch would make it work, the same way showing Bob and Mike in the convenience store in FWWM only added to the Peaks vibe. Damn, that scene is a strong one. Overall, the cinematic qualities of FWWM cannot and shou...

If they were to do a third season...

It will surely never happen, but if Lynch/Frost decided to revive TP with the original cast for a third season, how would you like it to play out in terms of storyline etc?

One problem is that MacLachlan looks so different these days, but still, let's hear from you... :)

Looking forward to this and thanks for all the hard work. Are there any locations still missing or have you actually covered them all now? :)

Re: Praise for the Second Season

I think the performances of Ben and Jerry Horne, Leland and Cooper are more timeless though. I can't think of a scene of theirs I would want to change (only exception being Ben's war breakdown dragging on for too long :) Windom, however, while he was impressive, scary and intriguing to me as a first...

Re: Praise for the Second Season

It's exactly passages like the one you mention that makes me feel the way I do about Earle. Welsh's somewhat over the top acting makes finding the way to the Black Lodge almost a bit cartoon-ish, if that makes sense. By comparison, I much prefer Cooper's and Briggs' "connection with the woods&q...

Re: Praise for the Second Season

I used to like the Earle inclusion, thinking he added a sense of mystery, but I find him a bit cheesy today. Too much of a standard villain. On the other hand, there are excellent things happening in other parts of the show that is somehow connected to the Earle storyline - things that all have that...

Personal observations on TP

I watched TP in its entirety earlier this summer after not having seen it for 10 years maybe. I basically found all the episodes up until no 17 to be classic and pretty much perfect. I realised that it was around episode 17 that the show for the first time started to introduce elements that could ju...

Re: Let's talk changes: how would you change FWWM?

I find the scene where Leland takes Laura and Ronette to the traincar, with Mike following behind, to be more corny than frightening. Maybe they should have left this part to one's own imagination. But then of course, the scenes in the actual traincar are very emotional and powerful, and definitely ...
