Re: Hollywood Autograph Show w/ Twin Peaks cast
I didn't see any rare stuff of any sort, in terms of FWWM or Lynch. The closest was that one dealer had the German FWWM poster, but that's pretty common, right? The actors had tons of photos, but nothing I hadn't seen before. (Well, Russ Tamblyn) had a cool spread of photos from other projects, like...

Re: Hollywood Autograph Show w/ Twin Peaks cast
The good news is that everyone was AWESOME. Very friendly and nice. And the looks! Bobby has gray hair! James lost like 100 lbs and has long blonde hair! Sherilyn looks EXACTLY the same, etc... all very nice. Bad news is - you could get professional pics taken, $150 for the whole cast, $40 for indiv...

Re: Lynch really busy with Wild At Heart?
Noiseless fan - yes: see shooting script of last episode (written by Frost) vs filmed final episode (directed by Lynch). But to the bigger question - It's been the official party line for years that WAH kept Lynch from the second season, and I agree with all the points everyone here made - he was we...

Re: If Lynch died?
Do either of them even own it? Isn't it owned by like... CBS now?
So, the answer is: Lynch will never die.

Re: David Lynch's next movie
Garland, to clarify - it was written after Eraserhead. The short version of the story (and the CORRECT and long version can be found in the new book Beautiful Dark) is that he spent some time trying to raise funds and among other sources, touched base with Francis Ford Coppola's Zoetrope Studios. Sa...

erm, if this helps explain why people would want to keep it confidential - it's one of Lynch's actual homes...

Re: David Lynch's next movie
I find Ronnie Rocket to be more pure Lynch than One Saliva Bubble... I'd like to see both, but I prefer Rocket. I allmost feel like... like... One Saliva Bubble reminds me of On the Air - and following that logic, it might be better served being directed by someone else? Jack Fisk? Mark Frost? Somet...

I never thought about it till I read Beautiful Dark, but ... I'll be damned, all his films have dogs in them!

Re: David Lynch's next movie
I hear ya... I haven't heard anything, but who knows what the future holds now that he's embraced DV technology, you know? I was the guy at the Rafael screening of INLAND EMPIRE who asked him if he would consider revisiting something like Ronnie Rocket, now that DV would make it affordable to film, ...

Re: David Lynch's next movie
Last we heard it's a documentary about... what... Catching the Big Fish, basically? It's been posted on Dugpa's info page. A documentary about his work with TM and his tours discussing TM.

Re: Has there been an email campaign to Criterion about FWWM?
and wait - let me clarify my point before I head off to work - (this'll be quick, I'm already late) - without knowing the details of the negotiations, someone has unrealistic expectations of how much money these scenes will make. I grant you, there are hundreds of thousands of petition signers out t...

Re: Has there been an email campaign to Criterion about FWWM?
Well... if money talks... it's that, or we take up a collection, you know? I'm not kidding. Like, what if we all started raising funds - we'd never come close enough to what they want, but it would be a dent in the ammount - not just us here on Dugpa or the internet Lynch sites, but put up a collect...

Re: Has there been an email campaign to Criterion about FWWM?
Dale - I hear you in one sense - wouldn't it be great to see the whole film as written in the shooting script? But having said that, I get Lynch's logic - the fact of the matter is, the scenes cut don't fit the mood of the film. The film exists perfectly as is; the extra scenes are extra - they are ...
