Re: American Chronicles

I haven't had the time to watch them yet but it looks like someone named Gary Grossman posted several episodes on Vimeo.

Re: Twin Peaks on Blu-Ray DVD Discussion

This is I will admit very unlikely and information to the contrary might be out there but the WTTP article says Fox/Paramaunt are releasing it in Scandanavian countries either they are imply a US release as well or someone else is doing the US release. It probably is a coincidence but Criterion seem...

Re: Movies David Should Have Directed

By similar taste I mean that they both deal with similar themes and situations. The clearest example is Fargo which seems like it could have been a side plot in Twin Peaks.

Re: Movies David Should Have Directed

I think that David has somewhat similar taste to the Coen brothers and could have done some of their movies well. Fargo and Barton Fink in Particular.

Re: Movies David Should Have Directed

He was offered to direct Return of the Jedi. he should have directed that instead of Dune. It would be interesting to see what he would have done and how it would have effected him. He would have had to suffer through great interference by George Lucas. I think that interference and the experience o...

Re: Last Film You Watched

Because Entertainment Weekly mentions it so much I saw the movie Heathers. I liked it and I hope they don't make a sequel. I also watched the 6th Harry Potter movie it seemed very short despite being over 2hrs long because it was good and fast paced because the 6th was one of if not the longest book...

future projects

IMDB no longer says Lynch is the producer of the one tenth of one percent documentary and it says he is now producer of My Son, My Son, What Have Ye Done which is supposed to come out in 2010. I can't find any other information on it. It still says he is involved with King Shot though.

Re: How would you rank David Lynch's films?

All most every director i can think of seems to make the same kind of movie over and over again and to continue to be good they must create value in a form that wasn't in the previous films or they have to break out of the origin inspir...
