This looks fantastic. Still don't know why they didn't do it 5 years ago. Anyway, I'm glad season one is being released separately at least in France - which means those of us in Europe who have already gone ahead and bought season 2 separately can get hold of the remastered pilot without shelling o...

I also need to rewatch FWWM, but as I remember: Mrs Tremond's grandson is in the place (above the convenience store?) which Philip Jeffries (Bowie) describes to Cooper, Gordon and Albert. He also appears at the end (to no one in particular, as I recall), when he puts the white mask over his face and...

David loves film noir, so references are pretty frequent, including quite a few in Twin Peaks. He uses stylistic devices to evoke the genre, and these are reinforced (for people who are familiar enough with it) by little references - I guess it's also a way of tipping his hat to a genre of films he ...

Well, personally, I've just ordered the second half of the German release. Of course, it depends on your preferences - I don't care too much about DVD extas myself - but the substantial content you will get is the same. In other words, when a UK release appears, it is going to be the same image and ...

I would reccomend against buying the Region 1 series 1 set from ebay just because it is so overpriced (around $60 or more), and you don't even get the pilot. You might well be better waiting for the complete set. As a guideline on cost, Amazon.de currently "Twin Peaks: The Complete Mystery"...

Annie - I've got a lot of work on at the moment, so can never quite be sure what I'll have time for. I didn't manage to get there tonight, but hopefully I'll make it to one of them. I might wait to go to one of the late-night screenings, I reckon that would be really cool. Anyway, I'll be sure to re...

Theatrical Eraserhead 2000

So the MoMA in New York is screening the remastered print of Eraserhead this week (see news page). Does anyone know about any plans for further theatrical distribution - specifically to the UK? I'd love to see it in a cinema.

Thanks
Simon.

Hello I'm Simon (who'd have guessed?) I'm 21 and I'm a student in London. I think the best of Lynch's films is Blue Velvet, although I love them all. I failed to get a ticket to the UK premiere of Inland Empire, but I can't wait to see it - the trailers look fantastic. I don't have a lot of time for...

Fair enough... I'm still waiting for mine to arrive (should be some time this week) but I've seen screenshots somewhere or other, and the picture looks even better than the series 1 transfers (I won't be able to tell you about the sound because I have no sound system). Apparently not many extras in ...

Red Room - maybe you should consider buying it from Germany. If you're in the UK, you won't have to pay a customs charge. I paid about 33 Euros (£20 or so) to get it delivered to UK from www.amazon.de I have no idea when the UK release will appear, but if it's any different from the German release ...

Thanks a lot Derf. I wondered if the dubbing might have been the problem, in which case, fantastic, because I won't be listening to it either (I bet Lynch is pleased - he hates dubbing anyway, and if he can't avoid having it on the DVDs, I bet he's happy if it's so bad that people would rather just ...
