Re: Did Lynch actually say TP & Lost Highway share a univers
In "Lynch on Lynch" by Chris Rodley, David Lynch remarks that the Mystery Man from Lost Highway and The Little Man From Another Place in Twin Peaks come from the same world. I think Rodley asks Lynch this, so its more a case of worlds in worlds rather than one big world encompassing every ...

Re: Did Lynch actually say TP & Lost Highway share a univers
Brilliant post there KMKMiller. Lynch answered in the affirmative when an interviewer asked him if we could consider Twin Peaks and LH existing in the same world, I can't source this interview right now - I thought it must be in a more recent interview for a book. I do remember reading this though. ...

Emphasizes which stuff that happened just before? I'm not sure about this. Leland hitting Jacques with a whiskey bottle?

Re: Windom Earle - Master of Disguise
I don't think it was Earle who distracted from the lingering grief/ guilt in the town, but the solving of the Palmer mystery! What interests me is how the new volume of the show will bring this former aspect of guilt in again - it surely has to, because they're returning to the 'origins' I believe. ...

Lostinthemovies - you're about as well-qualified as anyone to embark upon such a book aren't you?

Where did you read that, Ross?Ross wrote:I do believe that Frost is waiting until filming wraps to finish the book. That way any changes can be made. And anyone that doesn't end up filming can be dealt with in the book.

Re: Wishes...Hopes...& Dreams
Maybe a possessed Big Ed will take Nadine and Norma to a train car? That would be epic if filmed and directed in the style of FWWM. Only James could save the day, since he is the only one who knows how to release the good Cooper with the flames from his Harley igniting Glastonbury Grove's oil puddle.

Re: FWWM and TP: Disparities and Explanations?
Isn't there a shot in FWWM where Laura throws the Tremond picture in the garbage, or at least takes it off the wall and turns it over? Am I imagining that? Laura takes the picture of the doorway down from her wall in the morning. It's all clear that FWWM was shot after the pilot, this was a new ide...

Re: Valoquen
But, the Shelly and Leo scene is in the 1992 cut of the film. There is an alternate take of that scene in the deleted scenes - I don't know how this fan edit integrated that?
Re: swansong
Jesus Wept, this is such a depressing thread to have stuck here on this forum. I want to read about Twin Peaks, ideas, theories and even a bit of gossip but here we all are on this thread predicting the END of Lynch's career, over, dead as a doornail. Such a bummer.
Re: Owlsseemreal
Owlsseemrealtome - It is an odd thing to post from my perspective because it feels like you are predicting that this is the end of Lynch's career. I just find the idea depressing, to post that up. On the other hand, you seem to not want that to be the case at all in fact, so I am left even more conf...
Re: swansong
I just wondered if any of you guys think that with this new series that Lynch is going out with a bang and that he will retire from filming after it? This is a very odd and funny thing to enquire here when you consider that Lynch has not done any film-making since INLAND EMPIRE, which was released ...

Re: Numbers in FWWM
Is a number 7 next to the lift Jeffries exits, or elsewhere? I know that Lynch regards a '6' as bad luck and a '7' more positively!
