Re: Music From The New Series

One good thing the new TP surely did is introducing me to Johnny Jewel's music.

Re: The ultimate explanation of the ending (spoilers...really?)

"watching them both at the same time"
Reminds of Tool fans, trying to find secret meanings in their albums by listening to the songs simultaneously, at slower paces or/and out of order. Utter madness.

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

Imagine any other modern director make a 3rd TP season now, possibly with all new cast of actors. Could it really be any more embarrassing?

I agree. I think L&F just wanted viewers to get mindf*cked and start arguing about their theories.

Re: Season 3 was incredibly mean-spirited (spoilers)

Hey, it was successful. It was hyped. Mulholland was great, and everyone was waiting for maestro's next magnum opus. When I went to see it in the theater, half of the audience walked out midway, and the rest, including me, watched until the end and then silently went home with a strange look on the...

Normally I'm not interested in that kind of music, but for me the The Cactus Blossoms' performance stole the.. show.

Re: Season 3 was incredibly mean-spirited (spoilers)

Back in the day, I think his idea for the next feature film was too vague to receive a proper budget from a serious company. He got pissed, picked up a trashy digital camera and made Inland Empire. I don't think it was received very well, critics called him names, and his ego got hurt - his win stre...

Re: David Lynch should not get away by declaring TP as a "dream"

Outsider Art Sounds too much like an excuse for sloppy art, which IE definitely was. And I'm not trying to start a debate here, but it's seems strange to me how someone with a good pair of eyes could not see the cinematic inferiority of both IE and TPS3 in comparison to Lynch's previous works. And ...

Re: David Lynch should not get away by declaring TP as a "dream"

Most famous David Lynch movies were shown as a dream sequence. This way he could leave viewers confused, make them debate, and of course - praise him as a great artist, tricking them into thinking he made something deep. His films were stylish and effective, they didn't really need a real explanatio...

Sarah Palmer, home alone at night, watching bloody animals on a big modern tv in slow motion was captivatingly creepy.

Re: FINAL POLL!!!!!!! Your Reaction to The Return as a Complete Work

A day after seeing the finale, I gave up my resentment.
I don't like S3, but it was great seeing everyone again, possibly for the last time.

Re: You have been Lynched (Spoilers)

When you watch a David Lynch movie, you get Lynched. This new TP season definitely didn't break the rule.
