Re: POLL: The Nature of Audrey's Situation (Spoilers)

Have y'all ever been in a hospital room? All kinda weird '60s browns and greens... not the pure white we saw after the cut from the Roadhouse. My wife had a flash this morning - the Experiment, as seen in pts. 1, 8, and 14, is credited as that: The Experiment ("Experiment Model" in pt. 1, ...

Re: Part 14 - We are like the dreamer (SPOILERS)

I Just want to throw out there that Green Glove Boy may be James' imaginary friend, so to speak. That makes me feel better about him a little bit. James is waiting for the last delivery alone. No one interacted with Freddie in the Roadhouse, did they? James is the one communicating with The Fireman...

Re: Theories & Speculation (SPOILERS)

At this point, my guess is that it was Philip Gerard/MIKE on the phone. I'm good with this too -- Mike has been far too benevolent. I prefer his more sinister/complex Episode 2/FWWM incarnation. Wonder if there was a specific reason he's been credited as PMG rather than "Mike." EDIT: Prob...

He has been credited in both appearances as "Drunk."

Re: Part 15 - There's some fear in letting go (SPOILERS)

That is the same god damn stereo/TV/whatever sweet electrical device we can only see the back of.... Prochnow's been recast (and it looks like his character has a new, nice leather jacket), but I am fairly sure it's safe to say this is the same character. Nice catch! edit: I see the turntabl...

Re: POLL: The Nature of Audrey's Situation (Spoilers)

Or it could be up to Audrey herself to make the decision. Which would, I think, be much more rewarding, much more respectful of her character. I hate to think of Audrey as a pawn between Good/Bad Coops, Black/White Lodges - even if it meant she died all those years ago, I would be *much* more satisf...

Re: POLL: The Nature of Audrey's Situation (Spoilers)

I think that she's in the real world. And that when she'll finally come out, she'll end being killed by Bad Coop on her way to the Roadhouse, in front of the eyes of their son. Something as cruel and absurd than Fenn's scene with Charlie. The Roadhouse explodes with Audrey and Big Ed inside, Ruby's...

Re: Part 15 - There's some fear in letting go (SPOILERS)

So we have a woodsman that looks like he has recently been bleeding from his mouth and then we have this weird guy in the jail cell.Just a coincidence? Not sure I see the similarty -- but more than that, I really don't see WHY we would or should want to see a similarity. Not to take away from any o...

Re: Part 15 - There's some fear in letting go (SPOILERS)

Yes and agreed, and I guess my point is, was DoppelCoop fulfilling the secret desires of Good Coop? Or was he just violating Audrey to spite Good Coop? I will be curious to know the answer, if one is given. The former would be most consistent with the Leland/Bob dynamic. Of course the doppelganger ...

Re: Ranking the episode of The Return

Off the top of my head, not really thinking about it, only having watched each part twice (and 15 only once in its entirety). This list WILL change, probably next week when I rewatch the whole shebang prior to the finale; certainly over the years. There are no "tiers" for me (though I tota...

Re: Part 15 - There's some fear in letting go (SPOILERS)

 Fair point. Also worth noting that he apparently intended that footage to be entirely straightforward/real when he shot it, only "finding" the latter portion of the story a year and a half later! And that's one of the exciting things about what we're experiencing now. Although I do...

Re: Part 15 - There's some fear in letting go (SPOILERS)

Personally I see the James Hurley and Big Ed/Norma scenes as being exactly how they were presented. While there are a lot of awful things going on in Twin Peaks at the moment, several of the original characters are still providing light. I don't think there's enough time left for it to be more comp...

Re: Part 15 - There's some fear in letting go (SPOILERS)

I get the impression that the new James is 'slower' than the old James. He seems more 'normal' around Freddie at work, but I imagine that that's because he's relaxed, and that at the Roadhouse he's in a more awkward social situation. I don't think he's maliciously antagonising someone, I think it's...

Re: Theories & Speculation (SPOILERS)

I think something's going on with fantasy. In the Part 15 thread I wrote: Is anyone else getting more and more worried about Big Ed as the hours pass? If Ed Hurley were to have dictated his deepest fantasy, his heart's truest desire; it would not have played out any differently. He loves Nadine. It'...
