Re: Twin Peaks “Long Take” Challenge
Things have been surprisingly slow on this board, given that we’re in a quarantine and we all have “no place to go...BUT HOME!” Experiencing it as a parent that is now working from home, the lockdown has been very taxing and demanding, but everyone's situation is different. However, I'm here multip...

Well, I'm extremely fond of Dead Dog Farm for one. Additionally, members could dwell in castaway places such as
-Mauve Room
-The Fireman's
-Odessa
-Judy's
or even the Hospital Basement...!

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?
I believe that it's merely a matter of time. The delightful shock of Twin Peaks returning after decades off the air has made me a total optimist in this regard.

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?
The filming of The Return was almost five years ago (yeah, shocking, but there it is), the writing of it way before that. I've seen Lynch's recent photos/videos (from the last year) and he looks much more out of shape than he did when The Return was being made. I don't see it but if it truly were t...

Re: Frost on 'Midnight in the Desert' 2/11/20
Couldn't get the broadcast to load. I did end up crawling into bed at 1:19 though. This morning I was pondering what might have been discussed on the show. It got me thinking about Richard and his situation, in relation to Mark's father Warren, which in turn led me to the speculate and wonder if a b...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?
It doesn't really matter that Josie, Leo, and Windom were deceased. For example, if it had been Leo wearing the Truck You shirt and hitting on Sarah Palmer, would that have surprised anyone or felt out of place? At that point in the show, we'd ventured into some very trippy territory. Even something...

Fellas, get a slant at this juice joint, it's the owl's bowels! The gin slinger's gone goofy over Twin Peaks!

Re: Best Season Finale Cliffhanger?
Don't you mean
S1: "Agent Cooper?"
You know, I didn't realize it until this very moment, but man, that Season 1 cliffhanger is so very reminiscent of Mr. C's briefcase call. In both scenes, a perplexed Coop responds to a distorted voice from the phone by asking, "Who is this?"

Re: Do you honestly believe there will be more Twin Peaks?
I voted yes for various reasons:
-Mark Frost and David Lynch love the world of Twin Peaks
-The cast and crew love creating Twin Peaks
-The audience has much love for the show and that has been the case for 30 years
-I dreamed that it happened

Re: Wasn't the killer obvious? (SPOILERS)
Wasn't obvious at all to me. I thought of Leland as a real schmarmy goober. A second rate soap opera star. Some small time doofus who believes he's the Supreme American Dream when in reality he's just a vain and cheesy local celebrity passing his prime. The emotional deathblow he was dealt explained...

Re: Part 8 - Gotta light? (SPOILERS)
From what I recall, he disabled three tracking devices in the car, then input the truck's license plate. To me the scene was very deep and full of heavy suspicion, because it implies the car's systems were actually being used to track as opposed to a planted or secondary device. I only say that beca...

Re: Part 17 - The past dictates the future (SPOILERS)
Regarding the meeting between Andy and Dale, I am with you 100%, and the way Andy said, "Agent Cooper! Agent Cooper! We were just talking about you!" was downright awesome, it really zipped me back to the good ol' days. You're right, it was all nostalgia on Andy's part and you could really...

Re: Part 17 - The past dictates the future (SPOILERS)
Yep, I too was saddened that Coop didn't get to exchange a quick hello with Albert before disappearing into the void. Part of this was due to my knowledge of the actor having passed, so there was a potent awareness of this being their last chance to reunite. But yeah considering that they were good ...
