The Elephant Man film book
Hi all, Haven't posted for a while. I just noticed there isn't a dedicated 'Elephant Man' subforum, was there ever one? Anyway, just wanted to show this little collectable I didn't know existed, so I thought I'd post it here. Myself, Mrs Tiny and Tiny Tiny were visiting our local thrift store and Mr...

Re: David Lynch: Ranking His Movies From Worst To Best
I would refer the reader to a promotional DVD we traded a new console for, "Room To Dream", released by Digidesign/Avid, shot during some of the filming days for "Inland Empire". Good night. Yeah, I have that promo DVD. Interesting to see the development and bits that didn't end...

Jennifer in my hometown for Horror festival.
Believe it or not, Jennifer is in my hometown of Hobart, Tasmania, Australia as a guest of honour for the 'Stranger In My Face' horror film festival which is an annual festival with a special focus on female filmmakers in the horror film industry. It's co-organised by a friend of mine and last year ...

Re: Lynch 3 kickstarter
I'm a long time fan and follower, so please excuse my ignorance...could someone explain what 'Lynch 2' actually is? Cheers. Lynch One was a feature length documentary shot during the making of Inland Empire. Lynch Two was a short continuation of that, released as a bonus feature on the IE dvd. Lync...

Very well rounded and fair review/article and the comments were quite good too. I'd be keen to see this documentary in the name of fairness.

Re: davidlynch.com is now David Lynch Music Company
I absolutely agree. I don't rate Good Day Today either. One listen was enough. But again, I Know is pretty darn good and much more the kind of quality I expect from Lynch. I dunno... I think I can forgive Lynch for some of his 'less than stellar output' because I appreciate his experimentation. The...

Re: davidlynch.com is now David Lynch Music Company
I'm going to say something that might sound a tad controversial. I think Good Day Today is dreadful. I made better tracks in Dance eJay when I was thirteen. And they were awful. It goes nowhere, says nothing, and is derivative of the worst recesses of dance music. Sounds like a Eric Prydz demo knoc...

Re: DavidLynch.com - no new members and sad demise
Anyone know what's going on with davidlynch.com? It's said "coming soon" for the last couple of days (the store and everything else is gone/inaccessible). Not sure (maybe a relaunch with new/different content), but if you want to see something very odd, go to the site but don't type in ww...

Re: Movies David Should Have Directed
He was offered to direct Return of the Jedi. \ Oh my god, can you imagine Lynch's take on the Ewoks!??!! I can imagine Lynch working on some of Cronenberg's later films, 'A History Of Violence' for one. Also interesting to note that Cronenberg did 'Naked Lunch' a story of a writer around the time t...
