Re: Wasn't the killer obvious? (SPOILERS)

I recall back then (being only 13/14) not really forming an opinion on who the killer was because the show purposely cast suspicion on every character. It became less about trying to figure out who the killer was than going along with what you were shown, feeling the sense of mystery rather than fee...

Re: General Discussion on Season 3 (All Opinions Welcome)

Then they included a shot from that scene in a commercial. What commercial was this? Do you mean one of the teasers for the show itself? Yes. It was a shot of Coop from the Palmer doorstep looking decidedly un-Dougie like which, because that scene kept not appearing week to week, made us know that ...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

That's because you're not the creator. Would you have come up with S3? Anyway, I don't think things being tied up neatly and questions being answered is something you have to be worried about. Anything new would likely build off S3 unless he's going to have gay cowboys eating pudding and call that ...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

Not sure what to add in terms of theories, but top of my wishlist would be a FWWM type film centred around Carrie Page. Something set around the town rather than in it, that fits some of the puzzle pieces together. I'm loving the hype from a distance, but as per usual I'm going to not get invested ...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

Hopefully something substantial comes up from all that. As much as I felt satisfied from the ending, I really crave for more of the world where Cooper and Carrie ended up. I don't. Characters having different names, more tired "identity" crap shoehorned in - no thank you. It's been done b...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

Utter bullshit just piggybacking on the Horror Museum rumor, imo. The "premiering in 2020" thing is a dead giveaway, as that's clearly impossible (I don't care if it's a two hour special, Lynch ain't Clint Eastwood turning out a film in six months), but since their only "source"...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

I think the reality of the film and television business is, the only kind of project David Lynch is going to be given the budget and freedom he requires to work in the medium is more Twin Peaks. And if David Lynch and Mark Frost want to make more Twin Peaks, I can't wait to see what they come up wi...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

I will never ever understand the people on a David Lynch fan site saying they don't want David Lynch to make more art for us all to enjoy. Well not "Twin Peaks". The show is over in my view. Even if I had a super positive view of S3, I'd probably feel the same way. I think it's a comprehe...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

I'm just not in support of any continuation in whatever form. They had 18 hours, longer than most limited series, to do what they wanted, and that was what they chose to do in bringing back the show for that bubble. Many of the plotlines, including how it ended, were presented in an absurdist fashio...

Re: Tarantino criticism

I went to "Once Upon a Time . . . in Hollywood". Wow, I hated it! It might be the worst movie I've been to in a theater in, say, five years or more. Talk about disappearing up inside one's own ass! That's where Tarantino has always been, but in his other movies, even if they're pretty bad ...

Re: Tarantino criticism

I don't have an issue with him criticizing the movie. I felt the same way in August 1992. He can say what he wants. As far as his work, I've never been a big fan but it's intermittently okay. "Django" was a lot of fun and the best of the ones I've viewed (I have never viewed "Jackie B...

I read something about that, but what was she lying about?

Re: Lynch Telling off his crew

I haven't read his book yet, but the license plate thing sounds like classic OCD. I also recall reading something about him not wanting to get out of bed until the clock digits add to seven, or something like that. Also OCD.

So then it's a new transfer if he's mentioning "HD transfer"? How long are any deleted scenes rumored to be for this, even though they won't be included?

This is being reissued on CD as well, correct? I didn't even hear about this album until two years ago, so I missed out.
