Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group

Lynch probably doesn’t care...at all, whether idiots take one quote out of context. I may live in Lalaland ( I don’t, I’ve lived through more than most) but if you drop a wallet and someone steals it, you’ve been careless but the other person is to blame because, well, he’s a thief. If somebody defr...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group

I believe people should read something before cherry picking a quote, to do otherwise highlights breathtaking ignorance. I also find it absurd some people are blaming Lynch for answering an interviewers question open and honestly. The only people to blame for this farce are those that have quoted ou...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group

Why is David Lynch to blame for people deciding not to actually read the interview and taking a single quote out of context ?

It seems to me that the people to blame are those who are propagating this without having any grasp of the facts.

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group

Lynch on Trump, after a year and a half of the presidency: "He could go down as one of the greatest presidents in history." No further comment necessary. No, further comment is indeed necessary as all you’ve done is pluck a headline from an interview with no context. I read the interview ...

Re: One year later - how are we feeling?

I’m in the ‘enjoyed, but didn’t love’ camp. That said it stuck with me, I often find myself randomly thinking about certain scenes and characters. I can see it being something I return to frequently.

There's a region B release of The Third Man from Studio Canal thats still in print. It's a fantastic release, a 4k restoration.

Re: Twin Peaks: Season 3 on Blu-ray 12/5/17

I don't think its a manufacturing problem, at least not one affecting the UK. I've visited HMV and Fopp this week, both had plenty, even my local Tesco Metro had a Copy. Amazon had problems fulfilling a couple of my orders lately, blu rays of The Thing and Sorcerer took a while to be sent out to me....

The ratings logos are on a wrap around piece of card which easily peel off. They're also on the individual discs.

I picked up a copy from HMV (UK store) this morning. They had plenty on the shelf.

Amazon UK still have it up for pre-order with a release date of tomorrow, or at least they did an hour ago.

It's no laughing matter, taxis can be difficult at that time, five hours later and she could get the bus.

If she's reading this, just kidding, love you.

Re: What would you miss TP premiere for?

My other half is heavily pregnant, that MAY make me miss the premiere. Depends if she can get a taxi or not.

Nah. I'm going all the way through, four hours. Luckily, I'm self-employed.
