Re: Nike to Release Twin Peaks Inspired Shoes

Mine showed up today, and to confirm: the pattern is on the insole, not the sole. The actual sole is grey-ish. The fabric inside the shoe is dark red (yes, the curtains). Neither the words 'Twin Peaks' nor the letters 'TP' appear anywear on the shoe. All you get is the owl image on the side of the s...

It's a darn shame: no "Invitation to Love". Will they fix the sound with the second season (at times you can barely understand what is being said the music is so loud), or do we only know that the original broadcast stereo and 5.1 will be available?

Blue Rose...Blue Dye

I've always been intrigued by Agent Desmond's remark about the Teresa Banks murder being one of Gordon's 'blue rose' cases. I don't know that this will ever be explained, but last night while watching the episode during which Cooper discovers the letter 'B' under Ronette's fingernail, it struck me f...

Okay. So the idea was to create a programming block for young audiences. I kind of remember that (I was an undergrad at the time). I guess I'm wondering if ABC had any idea what they'd be doing to the show by moving it to Saturday, if they had some issue with Lynch/Frost and so decided to kill TP by...

Timing of Saturday night decision

Just wondering. At what point did ABC decide to move the show to Saturday night? Had any second season episodes been delivered at that point?

The Log Lady intros weren't part of the original series, and, personally, I don't like them and prefer to skip them. I'd prefer they were extras rather than tacked onto the front. I miss the "Previously on Twin Peaks" much, much more.

I would have preferred that Leland simply banged his head and died than the bit with Ray Wise over-acting while Coop strokes his hair and repeats "Into the light" over and over. Gah! Still, I love the second half of the 2nd season. The Miss Twin Peaks Contest is worth the price of admissio...

Josie is an odd one. In the thread discussing what was (or wasn't) to occur in the third season, I believe someone mentions that Josie had some sort of connection to Judy (mentioned in FWWM). Personally, I think the discrepancies in Josie's behavior fall in the same category as the dramatic shift in...

Okay. I'm definitely pulling the Passion Play stuff from the "Twin Peaks: Access Guide to the Town" (p.68), but I swear I read something somewhere about this being a part of the third season in another source. Maybe it's just me, but I can almost imagine some sort of Cooper as Christ analo...

I don't remember where I read this, so I'll have to track it down for you. But I remember something about an Easter pageant and a football game. I'm not sure if this was just wishful thinking on one person's part or not. I'm recalling this from way back when the Internet was in its infancy, and I'm ...

How much money must be made off me? I preordered Season 2, and now I have to face the fact that I'll have to buy the 'complete mystery' to get me mits on the pilot? Oh, the humanity! My only consolation is the fact that I'll FINALLY get to watch the 2nd season on something other than my worn out VHS...

The complete "An Invitation to Love" episode (of which only snippets were used in the show) is top-notch good stuff and should definitely be included in any re-release of Season One.

An Invitation to Love

Any word if the complete "An Invitation to Love" episode will be included as an extra in any upcoming Twin Peaks boxed set? I've got a fourth-generation VHS version (lacking sound for 3 of the 12-ish minutes), but I'd love to see this get the proper treatment.
