Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?
Twin Peaks has had three endings. Season 2 - The TV series cliffhanger extravaganza. They knew that the show's future on the network didn't look bright, but they hoped for the best. FWWM - Taking it back to Laura Palmer. Angels, soaring music, redemption. And closure... or so we thought for about tw...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?
I do think Cooper has been on this crossing/mission dozens or hundreds of times. That's possibly why he's so jaded in P18. So functionary and mercenary. He knew what "430" was without being told it means miles on a dashboard. He knew exactly what he wanted from Diane at the motel. By rote...

If the new Lynch project isn't Season 4, I hope some of you will be okay.

Re: Part 18 - What is your name? (SPOILERS)
Just finished my first Season 3 rewatch in at least a year, maybe two. It's still brilliant, still one of my favorite things ever and Episode 18 is still mesmerizing and still, I think, THE END of "Twin Peaks". What Episode 18 (and 17) does is take the main things that defined "Twin P...

Re: Poll: What do you want Wisteria/Unrecorded Night to be?
If I had a nickel for every weird theory that came from nowhere other than someone's imagination about more Twin Peaks coming, I'd be dead. Lynch and Frost are partners in Twin Peaks. Nothing happens with Twin Peaks without both off them at least approving it. Frost still has an exec producer credit...

Re: Poll: What do you want Wisteria/Unrecorded Night to be?
I have no expectations at all. I think people sometimes ruin cool things for themselves by approaching them with heavy expectations for what it's going to be. They end up only being able to see what the work ISN'T rather than what it is. Also, we don't know enough about this yet for me to expect any...

Re: Lynch Telling off his crew
I mean, it's clear that David Lynch LOVES to be on camera. Any director who releases 5+ hours of himself working behind the scenes is not conflicted at all when it comes to attention. Is it ego? Maybe. So what, though? Gordon Cole's scenes in Season 3 are great (and so are those behind-the-scenes cl...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?
If David Lynch scratches his right ear in the middle of answering a question about the future of Twin Peaks, SOMEONE will interpret that as something meaningful. ("Notice that he scratched his RIGHT ear! That means that he's saying that the question is on the RIGHT track! Also, watch the way th...

If I had to bet on it, no.
But I've been wrong before.

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?
I had a post-Season 3 Twin Peaks dream once. I think I posted it here.
In my dream, Lynch and Frost announced a new series, a Twin Peaks prequel about the early exploits of Gordon Cole and Phillip Jefferies. It was going to cover the Lois Duffy case.

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?
Because of their non-disclosure agreements, you aren't likely to get ANY useful information on "Season 4" from the cast. Especially Kyle. He tweets something Twin Peaks-related almost every day and has for years.
But now if he does it, it's a "hint".

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?
I still watch Season 3 and over the past year, I've come to a personal interpretation that Episode 18 was the end of the world. We (or whoever you think "the dreamer" is) woke up and the world of Twin Peaks ended. Laura/Carrie's scream made it happen. That's not an idea that makes rational...

Re: Theories & Speculation
I've always hated that theory about simultaneous watching ep 17 and 18 and I suspect that Lynch had a similar gut reaction. Lynch wants to immerse you in a world. When Season 3 was airing, I recall an interview in which he said that the best way to watch it is on the biggest screen you can and with ...

Re: Lynch Telling off his crew
I spent way too many of my formative years serving in busy upscale restaurants, where the chef was always screaming at somebody (including me sometimes) and where any mistake you made led to you being treated like you were the stupidest person in the world. High-pressure jobs tend to work that way. ...
