Re: What would a Season 4 be about?
Might see a "Many Sons of Newark" style flashback into the past where Harry, Hawk, Hank, Ed, Norma etc are high schoolers in the late 60s/early 70s, Leland and Sarah a young couple new to town getting ready to have a baby, Ben cheating on Sylvia with Doc Haywood's wife, etc, while Coop jau...

Re: Part 8 - Gotta light? (SPOILERS)
I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere yet, so I thought I'd share. A friend of mine had only one thought during the 1956 sequence. That the young boy walking with the young girl is actually Bob. It would be a neat trick, for sure, making us focus on the girl as it does. Perhaps the bug creature wo...

Re: Part 8 - Gotta light? (SPOILERS)
"(1) did Bob appearing in the bubble vomited by the Experiment originally happen in 1945, and then the Giant/???? sent Laura's spirit to combat it, which we saw play out in FWWM or (2) did Bob get extracted from DoppleCoop, time travel back to 1945, and sneak himself into the bubble vomit to r...

Re: Part 8 - Gotta light? (SPOILERS)
I think Ep 8 actually made the backstory very clear, except for one part - (1) did Bob appearing in the bubble vomited by the Experiment originally happen in 1945, and then the Giant/???? sent Laura's spirit to combat it, which we saw play out in FWWM or (2) did Bob get extracted from DoppleCoop, ti...

Re: NO SPOILERS: Twin Peaks Season 3 on Showtime May 21st 2017
Can anyone verify this one? If real it's a massive Easter egg that basicaly confirms the alternate realities approach: https://twitter.com/apadamson/status/844311330861432832

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks
While I generally lean more toward Team "Mark Screwed Up" than Team "Intentional Intricate Plan" when it comes to the discrepancies in TSHoTP, one thing particularly stood out to me in my preseries reread. Mark went out of his way to include the dramatic 1968 season of the Twin ...

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks
Someone wrote "It is possible that any part in Season 1 or Season 2 could be written off as dream sequences. Although this would be fairly insulting to fans. " I think the easiest answer is that the entirety of season 2 was a dream, except for perhaps the senior droolcup/Giant sequence wi...

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks
Frost is obviously an Arthur Conan Doyle aficionado (List of 7, 6 Messiahs). We already know of one crossover from 6 Messiahs - Denver Bob appears in that book and SHoTP. I would suggest that Frost also somewhat borrowed the structure of SHoTP from The Hound of the Baskerville. That book leads with ...

Re: 'The Secret History of Twin Peaks' novel by M. Frost 10/18
I have a theory on Annie not be included in the book. Go on . . . I have a feeling that Agent Tp is Coopers and Annie's daughter. Gordon didn't want Tp to know about Annie so I think he removed all her references. Amy Shiels Is 25 years old, she also resembles Heather graham a bit. Just a theory. F...

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks
Instead of the 50s being the starting point, the book strongly implies that something evil was set loose once Chief Joseph's tribe was displaced and slaughtered. It seemed like the "doorway" was open prior to that (see Lewis) but not to malevolent beings. At least that's how I read it. Esp...

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks
I really hope that S3 doesn't turn into Quantum Peaks: "Good Coop awoke to find himself in the past, suffering from partial amnesia and facing a mirror image that was not his own. Fortunately, contact with his own time was made through brainwave transmissions, with Briggs, the Project Observer,...

What error? FittenTrims just said he spelled it wrong, not Frost. It was Ponds in the original series and Pons in the book. It's another deliberate discrepancy between book and show. Exactly. Mark Frost deliberately did this, it's not an error. Check out this tweet from August: https://twitter.com/...

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks
it seems like every day i am suspicious of someone else. today its windom earle. his absence in the story seems too conspicuous. why does briggs not mentiion anything about his abduction? did the drugs that earle gave him erase his memory? there are a couple references to "masking memories&quo...
