Re: NO SPOILERS: Twin Peaks Season 3 on Showtime May 21st 2017
I'm sure this don't mean anything, but you never know. r13kaDFvy_k I've always had a sneaking suspicion (aka desperate hope) we'd still somehow get Michael Ontkean, and this is just fuel to the fire. Why would Showtime release a promotional clip like this if the character is to be recast or replace...

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks
As I re-read the book, one inconsistency that really puzzles me is the Robert Jacoby thing. How could Jacoby report on missing elementary-school aged Margaret Coulson in the Twin Peaks Gazette, and then many years later, pay tribute to her by saying they were grade school friends and classmates? On ...

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks
Far more than the meta-mysteries and puzzles, what I love most about this book are the moments that give new depth to those characters that we love so much, and were perhaps given short shrift by the later events of Season 2. The love for this world and these characters shine far brighter than any &...

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks
I'm still unsure how Evil Coop tampering with the dossier makes any sense. If he just wanted to omit or "hide" things in it, why not just destroy the whole thing? So the goal would have to be to mislead and send the reader in the wrong direction, right? Is there anything about it that sug...

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks
To be fair, if you're handed a big dossier, you wouldn't know you could just flip to a certain page and find the identity. You could randomly skim around, but the most methodical way would be to start at page one and go to the end. Also, TP had the dossier for a full week prior to making her initia...

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks
Go back to the beginning of the book and remember that the dossier was discovered at a classified crime scene. Likely the LPA. Briggs discovered who Cooper "really" was and likely paid for it with his life. -Mordeen The book certainly wants us to think this is what happened, but as others...

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks
Unless it's just a mistake then Tamara is the one who altered the postcard. Or someone who had access to the dossier after it reached the FBI. Did anyone pick up on this paradoxical postmark when the book trailer was first released? I wonder if Frost might have changed the stamp to something more o...

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks
Well, let me tell you this: If, after reviewing her findings on the dossier, Agent TP is STILL put on the case, it is clear that someone doesn't want her to get too close to the truth. That's for sure! I don't have any evidence for this, but part of me suspects whoever is fabricating/tampering with...

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks
-Third: Gordon says that TP will have access to ALL of Cooper's Files and Tapes. Never ONCE does TP mention that she listened to his Cole (or someone presenting themselves as Cole) is very suspiscious, but this I can buy. As I recall, TP seemed to very confidently identify Cooper's voice from readi...

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks
Hi everyone! I'm a long time die-hard Twin Peaks fan and follower of this forum, but first time poster. I loved the new book, and am excited to join the discussion! Considering Mark Frost said that he didn't start writing the book after the new season was already written and going into production, I...
