Wow, I had no idea. Good night to play the lottery...or maybe take a walk in the woods.

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

https://twitter.com/fatecolossal/status/1337462782195867650?s=21 Peter Deming confirmed as DOP! Awesome! Let's use our Spidey sense to intuit what Unrecorded Night could be about... Here's what I feel it's about. Everyone take a deep breath because I think I've got this one nailed down. Unrecorded ...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

This may be a naive question, but why would a show have a working title if it already has a real title? My guess is “Wisteria” was supposed to act as a fake title during production, but Production Weekly has now ruined that, so maybe Lynch will pick something else? Unrecorded Night means it's defin...

Re: Finding data about season 3's budget

I've always been interested to know what the budget for The Return was but Showtime has been tight lipped about that information. I saw this data which shows how much money different TV productions got tax credits on in California in 2017. On page 16 of the PDF it shows that the The Return producti...

Totally remember Arbogast...I often wonder if he ever was found out or got in any trouble for the little tidbits that he fed us.

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

Don't you think that whatever is supposed to be happening, we will get some kind of announcement soon? I mean, I understand plot (assuming there is a plot :-)) details and maybe even actors might want to be held as a tightly held secret. But if it IS Twin Peaks related (a spinoff or whatever, is the...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

And Frost’s comment is essentially an acknowledgement of it in fact happening. Not really. It doesn’t seem like the two communicate much if at all, and my guess is he heard these rumors the same time as the rest of us. All he’s confirmed is that he’s not involved in whatever project may or may not ...

Desperate Housewives creators were Twin Peaks fans...

Could it be co-produced with them?

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

Interview with Lynch in which he suggests that were it not for the virus he’d probably be making a film “or continuing story” right now. Considering the Hollywood Horror Museum tweets I have a feeling that in another dimension we’re all obsessing over set leaks from Twin Peaks 4... http://www.youtu...

Re: General Discussion on Season 3 (All Opinions Welcome)

I don't think that type of meta narrative is anything David Lynch does with his works. Twin Peaks has always had a meta-aspect about it, beginning with Lynch as director of the film and Cole as director of the FBI, and The Return is a very playful piece of cinema in that way. There's Rancho Rosa an...

He says in Hollywood Reporter: “You can’t work on a film right now and I think for a long time, we won’t be able to work with a big crew in a normal way of filmmaking. It’s just too dangerous right now. It’s really something to think about. I don’t really think I can make a film until there’s a vac...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

Come to think of it, has Lynch gone on record saying it was flat out never supposed to be revealed? I feel as if it might be hyperbole on his part, or shaky memory on my part. I feel every time I've seen Frost discuss it, he treats it more as a general 'mystery was meant to be retained' kind of thi...

It was a really exciting time, actually. There was a lot of information posted on here, but we couldn’t really make much out of it. My favorite memory from that time was the night they filmed the final scene at the Palmer House. It was an amazing night! I had a bit of a different experience. My lea...

Re: Lynch Telling off his crew

We may also be missing the Gordon/Albert dynamic. In part 12, Albert is clearly not happy with Gordon's attitude toward the escort lady and the information Albert rushed to share with him, as if Gordon was taking his priorities the wrong way. But it has not started here, there was that "say pl...
