Re: POLL - Do you Like Season Three and How long have you been watching twin peaks.
Love Season 3, perhaps more than the original, as a more auteur driven show. The original series suffered in my opinion when it was managed like a ordinary TV show, with lots of directors and writers contributing to the overall story and mythology. That said, until it’s return, I believe the first t...

Re: Parts 3 + 4 (SPOILERS)
Regarding the FBI badge, I'm almost certain that you see a flash of it dropping to the floor immediately in the wake of Coop's shoes, but it's seriously blink and miss it and I'm not 100% sure I'm not just seeing things. I'm also curious as to when Cooper changed his shirt (from blue to white) betw...

Re: NON SPOILERS: Twin Peaks: Season 3 on Showtime Thread
The link I saw isn't really a spoiler, it's not even title credits, just the Showtime animation and a production company's animation and then: A very short new clip of the camera drifting through the Red Room and then all too abruptly cuts to old footage of Laura Palmer saying "Hello Agent Coo...

Re: NO SPOILERS: Twin Peaks Season 3 on Showtime May 21st 2017
Sepinwall rather glibly suggested TP would likely be "a mess" but fun for Lynch fans, IIRC. But I generally don't mind him. That's not quite as nasty a take as Goodman, who grumbled tonight he couldn't be paid to go to the premiere. We get it, you're posing. Your Hunter S. Thompson cospla...

Re: NO SPOILERS: Twin Peaks Season 3 on Showtime May 21st 2017
You're absolutely right, however, (a bit far-fetched comparison, but still) there wouldn't be any Beatles without George and Ringo either, still it's not controversial to claim that Lennon/McCartney was, creatively, the most important half of the combo, neither should it be to point out the same ab...

Re: NO SPOILERS: Twin Peaks Season 3 on Showtime May 21st 2017
You've heard it correctly. The rights issues caused the show being put on DVD with all of the music from the TV airings replaced, basically massacring the original atmosphere and experience. A crying shame! I hope one day (maybe with a BluRay release, should that ever happen, though it currently lo...

Re: NO SPOILERS: Twin Peaks Season 3 on Showtime May 21st 2017
Does anyone think it's possible some of the original cast who wasn't listed in the credits might make surprise cameos? I'm thinking of Joan Chen and Piper Laurie in particular (though I suppose Josie could always appear in CGI in the wood). It seems many of the forum's members think this is unlikel...

Farewell, Catherine Coulson
How terribly sad. I had the privilege of meeting Ms. Coulson last year. She was so warm and generous with her time, not to mention incredibly excited to be working with her friend David again.
This is devastating news.

Re: What new merchandise do you want to see?
I'm pinning my hopes on figures - I need a little plastic Coop for my desk. In fact I need multiple - for my work desk and home desk. I would love a line of Twin Peaks figures from MacFarlane Toys, similar to the stuff they've done for Lost or the Walking Dead. I'd definitely collect the entire tow...

Re: Wishes...Hopes...& Dreams
Frankly, and I know I will be out of step with many of the contributors to this board on this, I care little about Ben Horne, Catherine Martell, The Packard Mill etc. I want to know more, much more, about Chester Desmond, Phillip Jeffries, Sam Stanley, the mysterious Judy, Carl Rodd and the Tremond...

Re: Possible SPOILERS: S3 casting & returning actors/charact
I'm hesitant to say anyone is a safe bet at this point, because we really don't know what real life circumstances are happening behind the scenes. Lynch may have told people they were going to be in the scripts way back when, and things still could have fallen through later on (Sherilyn??). While n...
