Re: 4K Blu-Ray 8/31/21
Dune is probably my favorite Lynch film and it's certainly the one I've seen the most and hold most dear. I have, of course, pre-ordered the Deluxe edition and cannot wait to receive it. Having said that, for those thus inclined, I cannot encourage you enough to check out the great Spice Diver fane...

Re: Part 18 - What is your name? (SPOILERS)
From the critic and writer David Auerbach comes this interpretive theory and it's about the most thorough and best one I've seen. Should become the de facto one afaic.

Re: Poll: Would you like to see a 4th season happen? (SPOILERS PERMITTED)
I want it to end on a high point so yes, just let it go and end it now. We don’t need a season 4. That would just ruin it. It has to end somewhere and this ending is a fabulous one, powerful and potent, though finely and precariously balanced. Lynch is never going to resolve or address everything an...

Re: Part 18 - What is your name? (SPOILERS)
Genuinely astonished by how many people there are that didn't enjoy 18, to the point where there are multiple posters claiming they're in tears at how awful it was. I'd rate it as my second favourite episode of The Return after 8. Loved it. Yes. With you 100%. I wish more of it could have been like...

Re: Part 18 - What is your name? (SPOILERS)
Awesome. Fucking GREAT. Cooper and Laura and us tethered together forever in incomprehension. Deeply inscrutable and strange in all the best ways, not merely obscure, ways I had almost given up on the show providing. Recalled for me the equally superb Harry Dean Stanton/Freddie Jones episode of Lync...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)
I've gone back and forth on the show all summer. It's been a profoundly complicated and disquieting experience for me.

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)
In addition, anywhere outside of this thread I'm seeing nothing but "HOLY SHIT THAT WAS THE BEST HOUR OF TELEVISION". Nearly everyone else is too blindly excited by Coop's return to criticize at all... so don't worry, you're not going against the grain by "not understanding the hate&...

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)
Cooper in the original series told Audrey he was 35. kornishpyxee Does he explicitly say that to her in an episode? Do you remember which one? I haven't found the episode yet, but according to twin peaks wiki Dale Cooper was born April 19, 1954. He would have been 35 in 1989. In 2016 he would be 62...

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)
Yes that's what I think too. Cooper belongs with the FBI. This is the TPTR cliffhanger. We won't know for sure if the tulpa will fill his spot in the FBI or fill his spot as dad/husband in LV. Awwwwwwwwwwwww, sheeeeeeeeeit! I didn't think of that! What a completely fucking perfectly fucked up cliff...

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)
My response to part 16: http://www.lostinthemovies.com/2017/08/twin-peaks-return-part-16-no-knock-no.html. I'm realizing with a bit of surprise that many are taking Cooper's awakening at face value; to me it felt almost parodic in its over-the-top nature, giving us exactly what we've wanted/been wa...
