Re: Why doesn't Cooper speak backwards in the Black Lodge?

As per my own theories about the Black Lodge , it traps souls that face it with "imperfect courage" and over time assimilates them as full-time inhabitants (hence why Laura also speaks in that strange way in the Lodge, she's been trapped in there for a fair bit of time). That brings up an...

Re: New here, some questions and observations

I thought he was trying to draw him into the Lodge to conquer him in some way (maybe to take his soul as well as Cooper's), but that's just pure speculation. Speaking of Briggs, I tend to think that he's going to be a big part of freeing Cooper from the Lodge How will they do that without Don Davis...

I seem to recall that Laura didn't work there long, but still, it makes the good guys seem implausibly bumbling. Any idea why this detail was r...

Re: Twin Peaks: The Missing Pieces - analysis/thoughts etc

It could also have to do with the idea that Leland, rather than Bob, killed her but then why give her a ring in the first place (I also, increasingly, see less of a point in distinguishing between the two - rather than separate actors, I think they are probably two sides of the same coin, the speci...

New member intro

Greetings everyone, I'm new to the forum but also new to Twin Peaks. I never watched it when it was on TV (I was about 16 back then) and never gave it a second thought when people mentioned it a few times in college. I always thought it was just some teen romance show or something silly like that. F...
