Re: Name that instrument
What you're hearing is a drum brush being brushed across the snare drum. It's used a lot in jazz. It's not a digital sound, but can be found digitally in music production programs. Here is what you're hearing: https://youtu.be/lCHwRc_SUA8?t=50s

Re: What new merchandise do you want to see?
I'm pinning my hopes on figures - I need a little plastic Coop for my desk. In fact I need multiple - for my work desk and home desk. I would love a line of Twin Peaks figures from MacFarlane Toys, similar to the stuff they've done for Lost or the Walking Dead. I'd definitely collect the entire tow...

Re: New discs to arrive soon! What order to view them in? :)
Well, the mystery is slightly ruined since you've seen FWWM, but still watch the series first, then FWWM, and then you can watch/read whatever you'd like in whatever order you'd like. The "Missing Pieces" are very cool and so is the diary.

Re: Episode 29
He may not care very much about helping Cooper out of the Lodge (or he may) but he certainly seems to care about reigning in Bob. In this case the two goals are coincident. By sending this message though, he ultimately is helping Cooper out in a sense, right? That is, if the right people get it. Wh...

Re: Episode 29
Right after Sarah Palmer tells Maj. Briggs her message and we see Dale walking down the hallway, according to Netflix the LMFAP says "I'm waiting for you." Is that really from the LMFAP? It sounds nothing him. It’s understandably confusing for whoever closed-captioned Episode 29 but Netfl...

Windom Earle's poem to Donna (Ep. 16)
It's never explained how Donna ends up with the final 1/3rd of the poem, right? Audrey's is left at the front desk, Shelly's is left with the tip, but Donna? I don't even think she was in Twin Peaks for the day or two prior.
