Re: Twin Peaks in Canada on CraveTV
Is this something us cord cutters can simply subscribe to, or is it one of those online things that's locked behind having a cable account? You definitely don't need cable to subscribe anymore (but you did for a while when it first came out). If you have an AppleTV/iOS device there's an app for it;...

Re: SPOILERS: Inconsistencies in the Secret History of Twin Peaks
Two twin peaks, two worlds, two lodges. Could the waiting room be the pathway between both? Perhaps the black lodge and the white lodge are not rooms but two different versions of the world, seperated by a catastrophic event. Burroughs always believed that the atom bomb eviscerated people's souls, ...

Twin Peaks in Canada on CraveTV
So it appears that Showtime programming will be premiering in Canada on CraveTV's streaming service, beginning in November. I just confirmed on Twitter with the official CraveTV account that this means Twin Peaks will be airing as it airs on Showtime in the US. http://www.bellmedia.ca/pr/press/showt...

Re: Theories Including Season 3 Spoilers Plus TSHOTP
I don't think it's a mistake. Mark Frost is being deliberately coy about Annie for a reason. Personally, I'm with M. Needleman and StealThisCorn above--things are being altered temporally. I think the inclusion of conflicting documents within the dossier itself suggests that someone is knowingly com...

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks
I had a feeling the Lana line was scripted too. No avid fan is not going to know Annie won Miss Twin Peaks. Saying that in public seemed designed to troll the audience. It could be two things: a) As I theorized before, Lana stepped in to win the crown she was stumping for due to the chaos at the pa...

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks
I think this whole thread is absolutely fascinating. I'm getting chills every time I realize that we're arguing and debating this passionately about new material from this world--I mean, honestly, who could have believed that this day would actually come??? It blows my mind. I've been lurking on her...

Re: SPOILERS: Inconsistencies in the Secret History of Twin Peaks
I know it's mentioned in Dr. Jacoby's letter that Leland Palmer came from a wealthy family in Seattle (pg 324), when in episode 12 it's mentioned his grandfather Joshua Palmer settled in Twin Peaks 70 years ago. This also stuck out for me seeing as how Doc Hayward says he delivered Laura and thus c...

Re: Twin Peaks Themed Psych Episode
Does anyone know if/when the episode will air in Canada? I honestly don't think I've seen an episode of 'Psych' on Canadian television at all... which is sad because it's filmed in Vancouver. But from what I've gathered, when the show has aired in the past, the time slot and channel keep shifting (l...

Re: Anybody attending the Festival?
I wish I could be there -- for the last week I've been traveling around Montreal and Quebec City, and will cap off the weekend in Toronto with a fabulous concert by my idol and first ever crush, Paul McCartney (I was 4 years old when I decided he was going to be my husband, gosh darnit! :P )... so e...

Re: What are your thoughts on TP fan fiction?
Geeky, dorky things are almost always the most fun, Audrey! I'm looking forward to putting my feet up and reading through the posts -- spent the whole day doing the tourist thing around Old Montreal so I deserve a little reading break, methinks!!! It sounds like a lot of fun and I can't wait to dig ...

Re: What are your thoughts on TP fan fiction?
Very cool! I haven't gone through this site as deeply as I could have, but perhaps I will. It would be nice to see what some ideas for S3 would be! Thanks for the tip.

What are your thoughts on TP fan fiction?
I'm curious about this because I've dabbled in fan fiction for years and this series seems (to me) to scream out for fan fic contributions, more than any other I've ever been interested in. Yet the Internet is strangely silent on the subject (but maybe I'm just here too late -- were there more stori...

Re: just finished the entire series, many unanswered questions!!
guildnavigator: I totally agree with you about the non-linear timeline in the Black Lodge. I might even go so far as to say that time is totally irrelevant there, perhaps even non-existent. It would have been hard to get Cooper out of the Lodge (as they probably would have done in season 3) if he ha...

You're probably right about Annie... I just like to pretend there are deeper, more mysterious things going on!

Re: just finished the entire series, many unanswered questions!!
I'm also a newcomer to Twin Peaks and have become quite the addict. Here are my thoughts about your questions: I've often wondered if BOB/the Black Lodge was perhaps after Cooper all along... I read The Autobiography of FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper: My Life, My Tapes and there are some strange goin...
